*smothers Snowy in luck* Aww hun, I've NEVER been this lucky - but then again maybe I'm paying it back in RF - NOTHING, not even a blood spirit in 3 weeks (running all but Halls of Flesh and final one!). I'd be cool with that but when I'm online and a guildie gets 2 tier pieces in one RF then I realise I'm doing something wrong  The helm wasn't even an upgrade for me :| Blizz likes giving me shiney vanity items it seems xD

Yeah its very random - was close to 1.8k before I got my 1st egg to drop, then yesterday I picked up around 11 bones  Not sure I have the stamina to go for the white raptor :? And hopefully there will be no/limited doubles :D

No updates at all, and I don't think there will be for a while.

I have posted earlier in my thread about the loves of my life - my 2 mini Dachshunds (aka sausage dogs). Zak was the eldest and has just celebrated his 12th birthday. He had been diabetic for over 7 years - this required 2 daily insulin injections which he let me administer with no problems at all (he would even come and tell me if I had forgotten to give it to him). He has been poorly on and off since before Xmas, but despite several trips to the vet (and a second vet for a second opinion) his blood results came back as being 'excellent' for his age and health conditions.

At the end of last week he started not being himself (refusing to play, only eating if hand fed). We took him straight to the vet who said his tummy felt sore and she gave him an antibiotic injection for the 'virus' she thought he had. The vet also took a blood sample as we were concerned his diabetes was not right. The next day Zak seemed tired but he started eating again and had a waggy tail. The vet rang in shock and said his kidney function was zero - he had kidney failure. She couldn't believe he was still alive and that he was still going to the toilet and eating (I had just been out with him and checked his urine to check for anything like blood etc).

Fast forward less than 48 hours and extensive treatment at a specialist emergency vet, Zak had gone into respiratory failure (he couldn't breath). We had to say goodbye to our best friend whom we had had since he was so tiny he could sit in the palm of your hand. He was my autistic brother's buddy and protector despite being so small - that morning at the vets is the 1st time I had seen my brother (who is 26) cry for over 12 years - after we got Zak he had no reason to cry because the bullying he suffered at school stopped as he could tell everyone about the cool little sausage dog that was his best friend. My brother is the bravest person I know, yet he couldn't stay whilst Zak left this world to go to the rainbow bridge.

Everywhere in the house is a memory of Zak, I have never been so devastated in my entire life. Our remaining little Dachshund Jaffa is heartbroken too, and looking at his sad little face only increases our grief. He won't let any extra love, food, toys or attention replace his big brother.

My hunter has pets and companion pets that resemble my real life pets, it hurts so bad at the moment I can't stand logging in. In my guild my little angels are well known - Zak always insisted on going for a wee just as a raid boss was pulled in DS10 and being diabetic everyone was cool about it (we even had scheduled Daxie wee breaks).

We will miss Zak forever, we will think of him everyday for the rest of our lives - and Jaffa will be waiting forever for his return.
