I know I'm not terribly fond of the 'Outland Chimera' look at all. I like the goat-horned heads and fangy mouths of the old chimera to the 'OMG XENOMORPH!' look of the Outland ones. So if you're gonna add new skins, add it to them!

I suppose the blue/cool colours are the Spirit Beast theme, but I really hope they lean away from that scheme and venture into other colour ranges and styles. I'd also like to see more corporeal beasts with hopefully unique models.

One other suggestion, O Lurker...for the love of all that's holy, take that drool-slobber yawn sound off the feline spirit beasts, about half the cats to leave us some choice - and please please take it off the druid travel form. I should think druids are quite intelligent enough, even in cheetah form, not to slobber all over themselves.

The noise is intrusive and aggravating, doesn't match the rest of the spirit beast sound files, to say the least, and gets played over and over and OVER again because cats use the yawn idle animation quite a bit. I think it was quite nice to have the lions that roar, some normal cats that roared, and some that didn't, which let people decide if they wanted a skin that made noise or not.

@Tahlian: I agree. It was nice having a few cat models that did the noise, and then other ones didn't. The first time my druid made that noise, I was like 'wtf.' I definitely don't like it for druids or the spirit beasts. It's almost as bad as the worgen sniffing.

Thing is, I wouldn't want to silence all my cats. I like that some of the cat models do it, there's just specific ones I think they went overboard on, namely the druid forms and the spirit beasts.

There's a tawny and a green skin that are (AFAIK) still unused. No word on if or when they're going to see use, but even so.

Wain's post about 'unused skins in the database'. Check out the chimeras. There's a nice orange Outland. .... well, nice if you like the Outland model.

Big +1 to that, and an easy fix given the number or rare-spawned or elite white-old-chimera around. Not too hard to insert it, is it?

I like having the rare Purple Chimera, because it's rare, not because it's purple. Blue/white is so much nicer a match to my Troll.
