Okay, first of all.. I am so damn sorry for not posting anything new.. I've had a bit of an artblock the last few days.. But I've finally gotten around to drawing new stuff!

And.. I finally did Xakaal's request! After feeling bad over taking so long to even start working on it.. I decided that I HAD to make it into something really really epic.. So....

Edit: Well, stepdad did Something to the printer cause it turns on but wont do anything besides that. It just sits there and blinks its power button light when i press scan and i dont know if it can photocopy my resumes cause its out of black ink.. -_- I dunno if its just not letting me scan or if the whole thing is being mean

You're probably going "Wait what, don't you already have a character named Maya?!" right now. And you'd be right. ... Sort of. This is technically the same character as my Shandera, Maya. See, the thing is.. Maya used to be a Minccino. Then she died. Somehow. Don't know how. And then she became a Litwick. Which got caught by me. So yeah. I really find her adorable as a Minccino.

... Yeah. After finding the most adorable little Pokemon gijinkas on dA the other day.. I decided to try drawing some of my characters. Of course, I suck completely at drawing any sort of humans. So.. I remembered how one of my friends drew some little chibi gijinkas of some old Pokemon characters of mine years and years ago, and that I had the pictures saved to my computer. I decided that she wouldn't mind at all if I half-traced some of those to practice drawing gijinkas myself. (Believe me, she wouldn't mind. We've been friends for a good.. 9 years or so. We're practically sisters XD) And sooo... These came into existence! It's only half of my Pokemon Black team, being the girls.. But I'll get to the other three soon. In this, there's Stormie the Mienshao, Felicity the Whimsicott, and Maya the.. Shandera and Minccino XD

WHOO MORE OF THESE THINGS. This time, it's my "Blue Team", AKA my wi-fi team in Black. One of them is still getting worked on.. But I'll finish that soon. Anyway.. We have Madeline the Garchomp, Sunnie the Shiny Ninetales, Nightshade the Shiny Venomoth, Luka the Sharpedo and Sydney the Gastrodon. So yeah XD

Fiddling around with a different shading style in this one.. And it turned out well! It's my Whimsicott, Felicity (Obviously). And if you notice the scarf she's wearing.. It's the same kind that Minccino-Maya has. If you also go through some of my older drawings (AKA, one XD) of Felicity, you'll find that she has a pink bow instead. And then if you look at the little gijinka of Shandera-Maya, you'll see she's wearing a pink bow... There's a bit of a story to that. In my little head-canon, while my TrainerSona and her Unova team were out shopping, Maya found a blue scarf just like the one she had before she died. Now, she didn't actually remember it, exactly, just found that she really really liked it for some reason. So they ended up buying the scarf. And since Maya and Felicity are practically sisters, Maya ended up giving the scarf to Felicity, who, later on, decided to give Maya her bow in return. So that's how they ended up kinda trading accessories XD

Wow that's a lot of typing.. Didn't mean for it to be that long XD

Hehe, I've actually done a few normal little team drawings... Of my two SoulSilver teams! (Ghost's team and my wi-fi team) But of course, they're both traditional.. So I can't exactly post 'em just yet XP But I've really meaning to draw my main Black team. Dunno how it'll turn out, since I can't draw Samurott or Galvantula for the life of me XD I'll probably try drawing my Blue Team too eventually. Gotta love team pictures! XD

YES I LIVE! I know I've been really absent lately.. I blame the conference I was at.. And the fact that I just haven't posted much. (Not that there is much to post XD) ... That and I'm lazy and haven't done much on dA since I got back from the conference. I should probably get around to that..

Remember how I had those little gijinkas of my team in Pokemon Black? And how I only had the girls of the team drawn? Well, I drew the guys of the team, so the picture is now done! Whee! XD

Yeaaaah. I'm actually REALLY happy with how this turned out. I did figure out that I suck at drawing kimonos (As seen with both Lyell and Stormie), but.. Oh well. I'll probably try redrawing them eventually and making them look better. And.. you know what? I'm gonna just ramble on about their designs for a bit. Why? Cause.. I feel like it.

First, Lyell! His design is kind of.. Boring, to be perfectly honest. Despite the fact that most Samurott gijinkas have armour and all that stuff, not only can I not draw that to save my life.. I think Lyell looks better like this, in a simple kimono and only having one sword. It suits him. And yeah, he has ears. I like to think that Samurotts actually do have ears under that helmet of theirs. Or something.

For Maya.. I obviously have two different versions of her, one as a Minccino, the other as a Shandera. Both of her designs are fairly simple, but it makes sense, really. Minccino doesn't really have a lot going for it besides its giant ears and tail, and Shandera.. Well, it's a CHANDELIER. Not much to go with. So I gave her a simple little black dress with blueish purple stockings. I think her hair is what really makes her seem Shandera-like, though, which is pretty cool.

It seriously took me FOREVER to think of an outfit for Felicity. Ugh. Any design ideas I could find on dA I either didn't like.. Or couldn't draw XD So I had to think up my own, which took, like I said, forever. I eventually settled on this. Which.. I really do like for her. The thing that REALLY gave me trouble, though, was her hair. I really did not want to have to draw ALL THAT STINKIN' HAIR, so I decided she'd have pretty short hair. And.. It works.

And with a fairly boring design.. Terrakion probably looks the least like his actual species out of the whole damn team. Why? Because I'm lame and decided to give him a simple and boring outfit. I really do like it, though, so it's all good XD

Hannibal's design was stupidly hard to come up with.. Mostly cause there's like, no male Galvantula gijinka designs that I like. If any whatsoever. So I really had to wing it for him. But.. I really like how his design came out. I especially love his hair XD

Aaaand last but certainly not least.. Stormie! Her design is stupidly obvious.. A kimono! It HAD to be a kimono. Seriously, just look at Mienshao! There's like, nothing else she COULD wear! So, yeah. I may end up fiddling around with her outfit design at some point, though, since I'm not really really happy with it... I do kinda like how her hair came out, though. Or at least the little strands that have the yellow on them. I'll probably refine her overall hairstyle in the next few days, just to see if I can find anything that works better. *Senna from the future suddenly pops out of a portal* Just popping in here to say.. Feel free to disregard that striked out text. I'll probably update again with a new little ramble about Stormie's design, but until then.. *Senna from the future goes back through the portal, which then poofs into thin air*


So.. Yeah. I'll probably be spending the next few weeks practicing drawings these guys, since I still have trouble drawing anything humanoid without a heavy reference. Heck, I'll probably end up designing a few little gijinkas of some PokeRP characters XD
