I actually had a dream last night that me and my fiance went to two-man Onyxia for the mount and it was easy as piss. Which is odd, I haven't considered Onyxia for a while now. o.O

My bf and I do 25 Ony by ourselves all the time. It's not that hard at all. He's a prot paly and I go SV for the aoe.

Oh? :3 That's good to know! I know that's one mount he would really like to have to match his Onyxian Whelpling. We're both hunters though and he doesn't have super-duper gear right now.

With account wide mounts one of you could just roll a tank and level it up for mount farm purposes.

We did 25 Ony again last night only I went BM. SV is far far better. I used my Ferocity spec'd worm, Savage, for AoE but it wasn't anywhere close to SV's AoE, at least pre patch. And my pet couldn't hit Ony at all during the air phase so I had to keep him on passive an manually put him on adds. The air phase took forever as I was on Ony and my bf and Savage were on adds. I'd use multi shot, burrow, and Lynx Rush on adds if my bf needed the help but it wasn't as effective as SV. We still got her down (with no mount drop of course) just took forever!

TLDR: go SV for this!

We ended up spending a few hours tonight trying to figure out the best way to get it done. In the end, we did it really smoothly with both our BM specs. :3

Did my mount runs today- nothing new. Got maly down in record time, tk was surprisingly smooth and I ran ony twice. I’m doing it on my druid now with my friends war as well as my hunter to increase his chances of getting the mount. I was in all feral gear but had to spec boomkin for the ranged part of the fight. >.< it took forever to get to phase three but it was a really easy run and even though my gear was crap we were never in danger to wiping. So I definitely encourage everyone to give ony a try. Expansion buffs for the win.

In other news a fellow camper let me know I missed Aeonaxx by a few hours last night. Grats to pickford for finally getting him. A very helpful camper- you deserved it.
Players from other realms are constantly bleeding over into Arygos and crowding things in deepholm now. I have however found an up side to all this new xrealm stuff. Most of my friends have transferred servers over the years and with the use of battle tag they have been offering to keep an eye out for aeonaxx on their own servers or simply invite me to group so I can camp on their server if I happen to miss him on mine. So sweet of them the company is nice too. Now petopians really can help each other camp even if their mains are on different servers.

P.S Can you trade with your b.tag friends or check the AH on their server when your grouped with them? If you could it would be a nice way to buy things like mounts off the ah if your own realm doesn’t have what your looking for.

Nope, still can't cross server stuff like that. Only trades that can be done are items both were present and able to roll on for. :/ (or conjured items, afaik)

Your right meggs but if you group with a friend through battle tags who is on a different server, the party is transported to the server of whoever is leader of the group.
Like today my friend from shadowmoon came to arygos and was able to speak with one of the people from norgannon (the server that bleeds into arygos) since I was lead. And when I passed lead to him, I despawned in arygos and ended up in shadowmoon.

Note: you don’t have to be in the same zone for it to work. I made a lvl one on a random server and it teleported my friend to said server. You do have to be the same faction though.
(Haven’t tried checking the ah yet.)
I have so many poor confused campers on my muddled server now. So far none of them knew what was going on and no one is happy about having to fight other servers for a rare.
We joke around about the Norganniets invading out homeland, they call us pesky Arygosians and declare my friend to be an exotic Shadowmooner from a far off land. all in good but but- server factions ahhh! Aeonaxx just go so much more complicated.

Holy crap. o.O That mixed server thing really is confusing... I don't think I like the idea though that you can, basically, travel to another server and steal one of their Aeonaxxs.

PS. What on earth is the difference between a server and a realm?! I never understood what word to use where!

Server and Realm are afaik interchangeable. Realm is just the floof word that Blizzard applies to their servers instead of calling it a server.

RIFT calls servers shards, guild wars 2 calls them worlds.

Well another week of camping has gone by. Missed Aeonaxx by about an hour on Thursday. Deepholm is now usually crowded with 2-3 other campers at stone core, two near the temple entrance, 1-2 behind the temple, three flying rings around all the spawns and one guy camping se1. They all like to camp on top of each other too and aren’t that talkative. Quite a big change from pre-patch where I usually shared the zone with one or two campers at a time- three or four on a Saturday. I miss my old realm.

Friend on another server got him last Saturday so grats to Coody.

P.S tamed jadefang and named him Aeonaxx as a lucky charm. I forgot he sets npc scan off in deepholm. Startled myself and a bunch of other campers. XD

That sucks , but I know what you mean. Your Deepholm sounds a lot like mine. The only way I was able to get Aeonaxx was the luck of my schedule. I stay up til 6-7am everyday because of work, so I got lucky and Aeonaxx spawned at ~4am. Almost no one in my Deepholm at 4am.

Well that’s a lucky time frame to be able to camp in. grats! ^.^
unfortunatelyI seem to only be able to play during the most busy part of the day . Main cities don’t go xrealm but other zones will so I get all the competition of a rush hour server without the benefit of rush out raids in trade chat. and xrealm raids was the only thing i looked forward to.
Luckily there have been much fewer campers this week. Either the traffic has descurouged some of them or Aeonaxx is spawning or them while im gone. I haven’t seen him this week and have gotten no reports from other campers so far.
I read that xrealm may mess with the spawn time though so I hope that’s not the case. Hope week six will be better. I’m starting to miss the rest of the game. XP

Well I took a quick break from the camp to go check out the fall of Theramore. Personally I found it rather under whelming. Just kind of a “oh no we got blown up! Horde suck.” Kind of wish I could get the mini mana bomb but all my Horde are still lvl 70. It was an interesting fight and I like Jaina’s new look but it was all over rather quickly and the loot was rather plain. Too bad the lower lvls don’t get to do anything. Oh well. The tabard is really pretty though and I like the banner you get.
