I really don't like to rant about this game, but they always tell us when they go down for maintenance that they'll care for our dragons, but half the time when it comes back up, my dragons have a huge chunk missing out of their energy because they didn't hit the 80% line so they didn't get fed or something so then I have to waste a huge chunk of my resources to fill them up. And it kinda makes me upset that they incubate the eggs, but they don't get advanced forward a day.

THIS! Like OMG please feed my dragons BEFORE they get that low! It eats up ALL my food stores because I NEVER let my dragons get that low by choice they're fed at least 2-3 times daily. I'm so with you on the eggs too. Last big long maintenance that took FOREVER left my dragons a day behind on hatching nests. I have two nests waiting to hatch. I know they're working hard on this and all that jazz but this is beyond frustrating.

My dragons have only ever been fed once during down time and it irritates the crap out of me. If they're not actually going to keep my dragons fed then they could at the very least reimburse me for the massive amount of food it's going to take me when I can get back in to get them full.

I'm so so so so SO sick and tired of people saying "if you dont like it dont play" response when I say that I am getting fairly unhappy with how FR admins are handling things.

FUCK OFF.

I love the site and its concept, but I do think they can do WAY better than they are with how a lot of stuff is being handled. (Like needing another coder or two to take some workload off Akiri, the sooner they get the coder the sooner they can get familiar with the sites coding and get to work...half the time when Akiri fixes something he breaks something else AND he has a dayjob, this is not okay they can't lay it all on him)

This is exactly how my fiance and I feel. I've been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is getting kind of ridiculous. They have a great concept for a game and everything, and yes, it is extremely fun, but it's starting to feel like they didn't really know what they were getting into and that they don't have much experience running a game site like this. If I were a person who backed them on Kickstarter (especially that person who did $1500), I would be really upset and frustrated with them right now and at this point I'm glad I haven't put real money into the game. They need to hire more people, preferably with experience, and figure out what the heck is going on with their site.

And the only things we ever get out of the down time is that maybe they'll feed our dragons (it doesn't always happen) and they'll keep our eggs incubated. That's nice and all, but I don't feel that's a "gift," that's something that should just be required when they pull the site down like they have since we can't do it ourselves. And giving us a familiar doesn't cut it entirely either. We don't get refunded any of the other stuff we lose out on (I lost out on gathering turns, Pinkerton (which isn't that important), and the chance to hit my 75k treasure cap which I needed to do. When Blizzard had these problems in the beginning, people got refunded their money and/or game time.

I just don't understand how they can take one tiny step forward to finding whatever problem it is they're having, and take two steps backward in getting anything accomplished. Like, they think they found the cause of whatever the gem problem was, so why the hell have our dragons' breeding CDs been jumped like 3 days forward? Maybe I just don't understand how hard coding is since I've never done it, but I've been defending these guys from the start and now I'm just getting frustrated. With this many people looking to play the game and countless more looking from the outside in, they need to hire some more people or start risking losing clientele. My fiance and I were going to buy gems until all the major problems started happening with the site and now I'm tempted to throw my adblocker back on for the site. I'm still a little butt hurt as well that nothing has been introduced as a sort of replacement search feature or that they still haven't brought it back on line (or the very least give us better search options in the AH so dragons might start selling again).

As far as compensation, I think it'd be fair if they gave us at least a little bit of treasure to compensate us not being to.

Sometimes they give us 5kt. That's nice, but I can make that in one round of shock switch or a couple of puzzles, or hell, one dragon sale.

I really wish that they'd consider opening recruitment for forum mods from the community; it'd take a lot of weight off their shoulders if they don't have to worry about running around like headless chickens all the time answering questions and making sure the forums stay in order.

And yes, they really need to get more coders too. Putting all that onto one person (?) is far more stressful than it should be, especially since the site relies so heavily on coding.

ffffff I would forget about that.
But still, only two makes coding around the site a lot more stress-giving than needed. The more people they get, the more the coding as a whole could be spread between people, which would create a lot more breathing room.
