Looks like the secret about Haarka getting the new model is out - TotalHalibut included her new look in this video, starting at 2:11. He doesn't mention exactly how to tame one, but now it's a known fact that somehow they're available.

There's still hope.. if it's built into a quest or something, they are more likely to make Soriid and Haarka non-tameable on live, or just make the Cata ones tameable.

Actually, listening to the video, I don't think TB knows how the hunter tamed him, so the secret might be safe. The hunter he saw with it had renamed it, plus, he was wrong on the location. So, there is hope...

He said its from "Un'goro" creator...So we still might be safe on that one!

grats to those who get him & Haarka, I'm just not much for the new look if they decide to keep it, it's like an antelope bred with a silithid; just not working for me.

Yeah, we'll have to see how it looks in release, since they will fix the size.

I'm mostly thinking about it for PVP, as if it does stay large for a while, will be great for the WTF factor, as well as guarding towers and bunkers..

Woah wait. I thought the new Sorrid was red/yellowy orange. The one in the vid was blue greenish. It could mean that these mods are tamable for everyone. Unless the color of Sorrid changed.

The other colours are other rares. The one in the video was Harkaa, I believe. Just need confirmation on Lapress, from Silithus.
