The black dragon yowled again, not understanding Kozri. But instinct told him to stick by the older dragon; that in doing so, he would be safe. He sat down on his haunches, looking up at the bronze expectantly.

Myriana and Swift - Burning Steppes

Swift snarled quietly at the black drake. Myri looked at it saying "I think it wants to be Kozri's friend. Or something. At least it is not being aggressive." She gave a wry grin at Glix. If the mage wasn't worried about Karzix, then she wasn't going to worry too much either.

Glix and Karzix - Burning Steppes

Glix scratched her head at the black drake. "Who wants to be friends with something that almost clawed you into pieces?" She watched the drake with a hint of amusement as it sat down and looked up at Kozri like some kind of massive, scaly puppy.
Karzix remained quiet, watching the drake past the slight haze of the venom. At least he was starting to feel a bit better. He leaned over and grabbed a roll of bandages, winding them around the cuts on his arm.

Myriana and Swift - Burning Steppes

"I don't know. It looks pretty young though. I kind of feel bad for it." the hunter said. She sat down and re-wrapped her injured hoof, but kept her crossbow near just in case.

Glix - Burning Steppes

Glix considered Myri's words and the dragon's size compared to Kozri. "Could be." She rubbed her chin, wondering what the drake wanted with the bronze before looking down at Myri's hoof. "Yikes, that looks sore. Can you still walk on that?"

Myriana and Swift - Burning Steppes

Myri grimaced at the goblin. "Yes it hurts a lot. Even when it's healed, it will still take several weeks until it looks normal again. " The hunter had an idea. "Swift come here." SHe pointed to her wound. "Breath fire on it so it stops bleeding." The fox sat down and cocked his head, studying the wound. Carefully, the fox blew fire onto it, cauterizing it. "There, at least it will nott get infected now" Myri winced.

Glix and Karzix - Burning Steppes

Glix winced at the sight. "The taller ones in the group can probably lend a shoulder for you to lean on until you can walk properly." She got up, brushing herself off. "How are you, Karz?"
Karzix managed a shrug with his good shoulder, easing himself up. He wobbled for a moment, still slightly woozy from the poison. Glix reached out and steadied him, offering him a halfhearted smile. "You?" He asked, then looked down and cringed at the sight of the snapped arrow shaft in her leg. She winced as well, feeling the wound before drawing her hand away with a small hiss.
"'Ere, let me -"
"No, that probably wouldn't be a good idea. You still look kind of... out of it." She said quickly, holding her hands up.
"I'm bettah now." Karzix insisted, pulling her down. Glix grimaced, watching him warily as he peered at the arrow shaft.
"I'm pretty sure I can pull that out myself..."
"I can do it." Karzix gingerly grabbed hold of the shaft, wincing as Glix barely swallowed back a whimper of pain as he pulled it out.
"Ow." She finally spat, grabbing bandages and winding them around the wound before throwing it at Karzix. He grunted as it smacked into him. He pulled off his vest and shirt, wrapping the bandage around his shoulder the best he could before tugging his shirt back on.
"We're not in 'ere an hour and we're already attacked by a bunch o' orcs. No wondah ya 'ate this place." He grumbled to Myri.

Kozri looked sort of helplessly at the other dragon. It looked like it recently matured, if he were bigger and older than it. He was still young by dragon standards himself. He tilted his head at it, scowling. "You're better off looking for your own than sticking with us." He sighed. "Still, you're free."

Magna attempted to pull a few arrows out of his chest "Ow.....ow....ow"

Arbennig licked at the wounds on his legs before deciding to run over to the other dragons.

The World Destroyer approached Glix and Karzix. It sat down next to them.

Kozri brightened at the sight of Arbennig. "Thanks, by the way. If it weren't for you and your companion, I'd probably be dead. That Aspect-forsaken orc nearly had me." He said to the drakeadon, grinning. He still hurt, but at least with the arrow and daggers gone, he felt somewhat better.

Arbennig nodded at the Bronze. He then eyed the Black cautiously.

Kozri shrugged, "I don't think he'll hurt us anymore. He seems fairly young too, must have just matured. Not sure if his Flight would take him back, though. The Blacks aren't exactly the most caring, but he can't stick around with us. He'll stick out like a broken wing."

Arbennig grunted in reply. He looked at the wounds on Kozri. He wished that the experiments were enough to give off a green drake's healing power.

Kozri gave a slight grin, "I'll be fine, really. I'll just politely ask Willowe to help fix me up, and that'll be that." He looked back to Shattertooth, still trying to figure out what they were going to do with the black dragon. "I don't suppose you ever learned how to take a humanoid form, have you?" He asked in rough orcish. The drake had spent a lot of time with the creatures, maybe he'd understand that?

Myri winced again as Karzix pulled the arrow out of Glix's leg. "I could do that " the hunter replied after Glix had tended her injuries. "But I should be fine. Swift did a good job, there is nothing more that can be done for my hoof. I should be fine." She finished re-wrapping the hoof and carefully stood. There wasn't much in the way of pain anymore, but she would still walk with a limp until it grew out. Stupid orc had to go and shoot her hoof. She really hoped she wouldn't have to rely on the the others for support as Glix had suggested. Shoving the thought to the back of her mind she looked over at Magna, who was just as arrow ridden as the rest of them, though his were a bit more serious. She limped over to the orc to once more offer her arrow extraction services. "I think you are lucky to still be conscious." she told the orc, eying his injuries. She got to work removing the arrows he couldn't reach before he could protest.

Shattertooth - Burning Steppes

The Black drake turned his head to watch Arbennig as the drakeadon approached. His shuffled back a little, obviously wary of the two-headed dragon creature. He looked back to Kozri when the bronze spoke, trying to puzzle out if the dragon was giving him a command or not. Not wanting to displease him and get hurt, the drake lay down and spread his wings flat across the ground; a trained action to show complete submission.

Kozri growled in frustration. This was getting nowhere, and this was a new action to him. He'd never seen a dragon do something like this. Unsure of what to do, he carefully nudged the drake, and tried to keep the edge of frustration out of his voice. "Come on, you're okay." He said coaxingly, trying to help the younger dragon relax.

Shattertooth - Burning Steppes

Shattertooth was confused by the older dragon's actions and tone of voice. Perhaps he wanted to inspect him? He raised a wing, growling a little at the pain, to allow Kozri to look at his flank. Many cuts and burns still marred his hide. The metal chain that held his saddle in place had rubbed much of his flesh raw.

Kozri gave a frustrated huff. He winced at the sight of the chain, recoiling. "We'll have to deal with that. Doesn't look very comfortable. Let's see if we can remove that." He moved back a bit, taking a deep breath. Gathering his energy, he cast the disguise spell and returned to his human form, then moved forward to inspect the chain, looking for some sort of lock or latch.
