Well I did Halaa a LOT back in BC so I had a whole stash of battle tokens.
As for how long it took me... Basically all day if you count in the breaks I took between mounts.

I agree, then again I've never been fond of mounts that can't land. Imagine my bliss when they gave hippogryphs the ability to stand on their feet. xD

Yes! I FINALLY can stop buying those stupid eggs! I'm so happy, this is one of my favorite mounts!! <3

So story: I was in the beta and my egg hatched, I thought to myself "watch me get the mount on beta." but I didn't actually think I would really get it.. So when I did I freaked out and then got a bit angry.
So I log onto live and expect to get aged yolk (I rarely ever get aged yolk, though) but omigosh, it was the mount. And I screamed. In joy!

So yeah, I was hoping once I got the mount on beta that the loot inside was decided at the moment the egg enters your inventory (same as how dungeon loot is decided) and it seems I was right! And I'm so happy, yee!!

So yeah will try to remember screenshots tomorrow!

So, I've already posted about this in the mount accomplishment thread but I like keeping this thread here as a journal of sorts, so, screenshots of my new phoenix!

This is the third time I've seen this mount drop... so rather relieved to finally have it!

When the mount dropped, thanks to Leo, Madexx, a big gun, and.... I forgot what the fourth thing was.

No, I opened it on beta first and was really pissed off that I got it on beta and not live, so I went to live to see if I I'd get it there too, and I did! So I have the green proto on live.

I got the stupid sewer rat on the PTR looooong before I got it on live. And I'd gotten it on the first cast too. I was super-ticked. xD
