I know; It just feels that unless I do it on as many characters as I can possibly muster it'll take years before I see it drop.
I just...really don't like this account wide stuff. I didn't see an issue with things when things were bound to character and because I /do not/ like the system being put in place I'm apparently some crazy idiot who doesn't know what I'm talking about.
I can see the benefits; I just feel the downfalls will ruin this game for me. Like...it won't even be a "role-playing" game anymore.

The restrictions aren't out yet and I keep saying that the system would be fine with certain ones but I'm getting constantly trolled or freaked out at because "omg stop complaining" when I'm merely trying to lay out the fact there are indeed negatives to this that need to be thought of.
I should just to bothering. My subscription money and all the money I've put into TCG mounts apparently "doesn't matter". All /my/ time I've put in playing "doesn't matter" and because I don't accept this change with open arms screaming "OMG YAYYYYY FINALLY" I'm nothing more than a bitch.

Whatever.
At least I know I'm "decent" at this game.
Having this "cocky arrogance" is the only thing preventing me from straight up breaking down at this rate because people seem to treat me worse if I'm not trying to defend myself or "reassuring" myself that I /am/ good and that I've actually done things that these people trying to tear me apart could never do. But having pride in my accomplishments I've done makes me an "elitist" despite the fact I supported DS nerfs and open content for all - The same things these people chewing me out pushed for as well.
I also feel guilty because I end up coming across as a jerk when in reality I'm just either trying to make my point or get these people to stop calling me out on being a "bad" or a "failure".

The system is being placed in - It just wish people would stop literally degrading me because I don't like it...

Hey, I remember when I first heard about the account wide mounts thing. I was *FURIOUS*. Because 90% of my WoW time is spent devoted to mounts, it made making alts and whatnot seem completely pointless. I was outraged about it, made a forum thread here about why I didn't like it, of course no one understood because, well, it's this forum. A lot of people here don't know how to react to someone who has a totally different opinion to theirs or to what they expected. I've cooled off about it now and I see a lot of pros about it, but obviously I still see the cons. There's pros and cons to everything and there always will be. I admire the fact you're so dedicated and able to spend money on TCG mounts, I wish I could as well. I'm sure I've said this before, hehe. But the point being - Don't let others get you down about it at all. Your opinion is always valuable. These people clearly just don't really care about this system being implemented which is why they don't understand your frustration behind it. For now, I'm in the mindset of 'let's just see what happens when the time comes'. But as I said before, don't let other people let you down. <3

I try to see the positives in things that blizzard does.. otherwise id be a pretty much ticked off person most times with wow. Everything has pros and cons but it pretty much is take or leave it kind of system. You have a choice whether or not to use specific mounts on your char and whether or not you want to work on alts to get it. RNG is brutal at times (most times.. all the time.. hate you zg!), and from my experience its all luck of the draw. My alts tend to get all the luck when it comes to mounts from holidays, or rares im camping. Nothing like camping for Aeonaxx on Saon miss it twice, then Sas runs into it 3 days later.. or camp 6 months for TLPD then your alt just runs into TLPD.. I refused to usee TLPD until I got him on Sas cause it hurt that much.

The tcg mounts well say you switch mains due to either getting bored with the class, and hating the new stuff that came out, or you want to try a new class or your guild say needs a healer, you can still use the mounts you worked so hard for without being annoyed that you cant use your Savage raptor or something due to having to switch mains. TCG mounts arent cheap, so having to buy another tcg mount cause your switching mains and no longer will play that char sucks... For Rp purposes uh... um... you could say that your mounts had babies? They spawn like Pandas- uh bunnies. Just trying to be positive

I actually RP'd with Time-Lost as a ditzy drake that kind of wandered in and out of time as he pleased - Givin' no nothin's about nobody since he was technically a "beast" and not a "drake".
If I use him on my priest it could be his children or something. I think that'd be stupidly overcute.
(Although I do plan on using the Twilight Harbringer up there for him. He's a little messed up himself and the Lady Gaga Twilight Drake just suits him for a companion. I can play it as a Red Drake instead of a Twilight one since they be all ded now I think.))

I love this game to bits - It's changed my life and even now I'm in a pretty crappy spot and the game itself is helping me pull through. I don't want to see such an amazing game go the route of "get all the things X-bawx achievements *casual time!"
*Casual as in: Console Gaming style - Not classic MMO style.

I think to settle into this I'll go have a photoshoot tonight with whatever mounts I want my priest to use.

If you focus on the positive things in a game, the game will become more fun. If its too hard to focus on the positive things due to horrible changes, then try a new game in which there is more positive things.

Updates have been few and far between;
Although it's not a bad thing. It means I'm scratching my way to the top before there is no real "competition" in MoP.

172 dropped tonight after a very long while and I luckily won the roll.
It's funny because I was thinking about doing RBG's 10 minutes prior but was declined because my MMR (1700lolwut) was too high.

Wow! o.O I'm so jealous... How many runs did that take you?

I had 36 almost straight runs on my warrior with a few kills scattered on alts -
I was over 40.

The launch day of Mists though I was getting overwhelmed with Anxiety from falling behind on the server first race (20% behind the guy in front of me) and split off on my own to quest as quickly as I could and I dropped out of mumble because I felt I was getting grouchy.
Less than 5 minutes later my Officer began freaking out at me over RiD to get back into Mumble.

I thought I was in trouble because I was getting snippy earlier but he told me to keep quiet and tell nobody but Invincible was on the BMAH.

I had a 100% complete mental breakdown when everybody in the guild pitched forwards to help me bid gold cap on it.
I couldn't actually do anything for about 2 hours. I was sitting there so happy and thankful that I became physically sick. Don't ask me how - I've never had something like this happen to me.

It was pretty funny having the guy ahead of me ask if I was alright when he noticed I was a level behind him - I think I was more than alright.

And in regards to the last update I made before this;
I'm now sitting at 212 mounts on Schwert.

212?! That's amazing! I'm so jealous since you seem to have such a nice guild rooting for you. When I finally got to 90, my guild basically laughed at me for going back and continuing to do old raids for mounts with my fiance rather than doing MoP content right away. I've been busy with uni too so I've yet to start any of the reputations in MoP. I've seen some nice mounts on the BMAH though, but way out of my price range. Congrats again! I'd give anything for an Invincible. Recently I've been going nuts collecting the War of the Ancients TCG cards in hopes I'll get a Feldrake. (:

Half the reason my Officer had to drag me into Mumble is because Proudmoore is an extremely rich realm and if anybody in the guild blurted out that he was up it would have been capped instantly.

Mimiron's Head went through the same thing. It capped less than 10 minutes after it went up.
