I have a dragon on one of my lineage lists that has a baby named Exalted or something like that. I'm totally not against exalting but shit that's just not cool. Leave it unnamed over giving it something assholey like that. =/

My own rant; no random FR user I don't even know, I don't particularly appreciate being pinged for a dragon pair I never showed interest in. I'm not even entirely sure how you got my name and a bunch of other people's names that I know to do that. I'm sorry you think people are being rude, but it's a little rude of you as well to just assume that we're all going to be magically interested in a pair that we didn't sign up for. I don't want to be mean about it, and I'm sorry for ranting for it here, but my day at work was kinda bleh and then it was kinda weird to be pinged for something (especially when it seems to have happened to a *lot* of people who didn't ask to be on a ping list) when I got home. Also, might have been a good idea to see if people's lairs are full first. Mine is stuffed and I'm not looking to take more dragons in right now.

Ugh I sent a crossroads to someone for a tundra they were advertising on tumblr that I wanted. They message me today and tell me he's being held but they reblogged the thing for him twice with him still on there and said "They're still available come and get them!".. Why wouldn't you cross him out then. I have the money now and am willing to pay for him and you tell me he's been sitting since yesterday. Really? Ugh. FFs.

Yep, a friend picked up an x/x/y TG imp for 18k on the AH - nice colours too! 50k would make me cry with happiness in this market Been trying to sell a good coloured DG imperial (RTB) for 9k lately, finally gave him away.


My rant: how da feck do people buy the new apparel items from the MP?! I refresh, there's 14 available, I'm all lined up to click instantly, so no more than a second goes by and all 14 are gone GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

50k with those genes and that primary color (I think he's lovely, but greys can be hard to sell and anything that's not Iri/Shim is hard to sell) is really nice imo with the current state of the market. I know it stinks and I don't understand how some people sell their Imps for 150k still.

I think there's some people out there who will pay for a dragon because of who it's from, not necessarily it's genes etc. There's quite a few people of tumblr who sell dragons at really high prices, even though you could pick up a very similar one for cheap on the AH! They have a following and it's their 'fans' that buy their dragons xD If only I was as popular

I also think people who are only looking to meet private lair goals will pay more for the right combination, right dragon, right buyer, right time sort of thing. For instance I sold DG spiral for 30k last night because it happens to fit exactly with some ones needs, today i agreed to pay 600 gems for my perfect dragon if it hatches (jade/jade/Emerald Imp)

I think a lot of it is what Syleye mentioned. For example, I wanted an orange/tangerine iri/shim female dragon. I found one on AH for 250 gems. ...There was an orange/orange iri/shim female for 30 gems, too. One shade different. And I bought the 250 gem one. The perfect dragon is worth a high price.
