This has gotten to the point where I think users need to be compensated a little for all the downtime.

I actually don't agree. In the past when we've been 'compensated' for down time, it wasn't because they HAD to. We don't have the right for stuff. It was only because they wanted to give users something to give a feel good feeling to everyone. They could have been like... "You want something? Here, you can have a working site." and it would have been just fine.
To be perfectly honest, if I were on the FR team, I would really have some feelings AGAINST giving users anything for this downtime. After all, how many exploiting users have been popping up recently? Quite a few. I would feel like the users are just flipping the team the bird by continually exploiting the system and breaking into admin accounts. Sure, not everyone is doing that. Most people aren't breaking the rules (Besides all the people sharing accounts. IwontgetintothatbecauseIknowI'dgetattackedbyyouguys), but even so! I'm sure it's a bit frustrating that there ARE so many people trying to scam the site by scamming, exploiting, and all around breaking the rules. Such disrespect doesn't really deserve reward.

I dunno. I'm not trying to fight any one on the compensation topic. Really, I'm not! I can understand why it would be nice to get it. To be fair, I wouldn't say no to free stuff.. But yeah. I just don't think we NEED to get anything.

I am of the mindset that I dont NEED anything from them. I will be happy when the site works. if I get stuff for the downtime, awesome. But it wont change my opinion of them if I dont

Well I sure do wish they would you know make a site that works. It feels like with a lot of these exploits could of been found with some simple bug testing. I mean some of these things seem to be pretty basic ones that could of been found out before people used them. I mean most companies have someone to look for these things. Maybe spend less time making new skins and more time looking?

Well okay then less time making familiars and other things and more time looking for things that could be exploited so that they don't need to have to have down time in the future because someone used them.

It's called thinking ahead. It's a smart thing to do.

I'm cool with not getting freebies for the down time. But FFS at least feed them since I can't. My dragons are really low. I don't get why it's taking so long.

A working site isn't compensation. A working site is something thats mandatory. They fucked up big time and we're the ones paying the price with a broken site that some invested a bit of money into because they didn't keep their stuff secure. I normally dont demand compensation since usually it's just a minor mishap, sites back up within an hour, but this time I feel it's necessary cause it's been days, nearly a week. That's absolutely unacceptable when you have people that paid money for this and a mechanic that requires the users attention every few hours.

Feels longer since I got a routine in the mornings and afternoons. nearly half a week then but still thats 3 days too long.
