Nice to see a continuation from you Azu. :) Scarab sure is something else. XD I never pictured a beetle to be so mean--then again, I never thought of tallstriders as mean until Tsara met Henbane...

Scarab...is...uh...special. Cold. I like him a bunch though. He's a pretty cool guy.

And yeah, you'd think Tallstriders would be nice!

Scarab does seem pretty cool. :)

Henbane...Henbane is hell on two feet and a beak. I swear she purposely goes out of her way to try and get Tsara killed. It all started when I went to tame her--she killed me once or twice, which is the first time I think the Clutchmother has ever killed me trying to tame her.

Dear Journal,

Today, I perched against Scarab and thought about how far I've come. No word from Ghost in days, I'm a bit worried about her. Scylla, unfortunately, was injured while fighting one of the gnolls, one of her tusks was snapped off. Doesn't bother her, though. Shadwyn and Jitters are keeping the defense of Darkshire, and Lillith has slowly gotten worse. Fiona and the paladins there are trying their hardest to keep her okay, but soon not even the Light of the chapel will be enough for her. However, Dagger is keeping the Searing Gorge wrapped in his coils, and Keeshan and Daray have been doing great. No word from Phantom or Darkrai.

As well, there have been reports of this worgen going about taking care of things in this continent called Kalimdor. I'd like to visit Kalimdor some day. Heard she may be sent to the Penisula here soon, might have to have a nice chat with her. She's a huntress as well, I'm sure she's lost friends as well.

Either way, enough reminscing.

We were sent to Zeth'gor once more to take care of more fel orcs. Scarab let out a gleeful, malicious chatter and snapped his pincers. Soundwave crowed in joy, ready to move. Buzzard spat a gout of flames, and let out a squeaky roar. He's been getting stronger. With my friends ready, we set off to take care of the orcs.

We placed smoke beacons beneath the towers, and gryphon riders swooped in and lit them with explosives.Soon, the towers burned and began to fold. When smoke filled the sky and flames ate at the towers, Scarab and I carried as many talismans as we could back. Done, we had one another objective--demon slaughter redux. We had to gather eight demonic runes to disrupt two portals. The demonic threat no longer a priority, they ordered us to go finish of the Warlord of Bleeding Hollow. I was glad to do so, it was infuriating to know they had killed soldiers and twisted their idenity for their own purposes. I saw their necromancers had a few skeletons...were they former Alliance men? When we took care of him, this huge eye appeared and yelled at us for "trifling with his playthings", whatever that is supposed to mean.

Then, I was put on a gryphon and sent to bomb two more portals that were surrounded by demons way too powerful for us. Soundwave and Scarab waited impatiently for my return, glad to see I was okay. He wanted us to go to Shatter Point next, but that sounded like a long trip, and Honor Hold needed us now.

We were ordered to gather fel spirits so we could exorcise a man named Commander Jules, for he had been cursed and would not rest until he was avenged. Furthermore, we had to gather prayer beads. Scarab found them easily behind the inn, giving me a smug look. Or as smug as a beetle can get.

We gathered ten fel spirits without too much problem and returned to the inn. We began the exorcism, and dark spirits flew about. Jules slowly hovered around, glowing darkly and muttering words in another tongue. He screamed and flung taunts, and emitting this foul substance.

Eventually, it was chased away and the Anchorite collapsed, exhausted. Scarab looked a bit irritated at all the spirits and took a place to rest, refusing to move. As much as I'd like to keep going and as much as the Force Commander needs us, I'm not facing demons and stuff without him. Till then, journal.

I grinned like an idiot when I caught the Laki reference :D
I'm actually looking forward to getting to Outland with her; I've only done the Alliance side quests once, a few years ago now. In fact I'll be catching up with you soon in between drawing up my project. Silithus is way too short :(

Rest in peace mum. I really did love and miss you, even if I never got to see you.

Ha, only fair with all the Sol references you've dropped!

And yeah. I need to move quicker. I'm thinking I'll go HFP > Zangar > Nagrand >Netherstorm. Since I have heirloom shoulders, I'll level quickly and won't need to do all of Outlands. As for NR, that'll be interesting what I'll do. Maybe HF > DB > GH > IC...

I love Scarab. It's sort of a bonus love because I loved him in the PokeRP as well, but over all, beetles are pretty awesome.

And I'm glad I can make Outlands a bit more exciting. I hate HFP and Zangar, to be honest.

HFP is a lot more bearable if you wait untl 60 to go there and can fly over all the damn hellboars.

I go to Outlands at 58; I just run through everything since going at 58 means you get boosted xp until 60 (since you're still running on vanilla xp levels). Idk, I don't have a problem with the boars I guess. XD

((What's this? An update?! O_o))

Journal:

It's been months since I last wrote. Through a series of rather awful events, I ended up sick after Fel Orcs poisoned our food supply. I nearly died several times, but eventually I ended up recuperating. After that, I felt it was needed to see all my previous, surviving companions. It didn't really occur to me how easily I could die, or how easily I could lose them.

After that, I finally returned to Hellfire. Feeling much better, Scarab and I set out. Our first orders were to go to some settlement far out on the west side of Hellfire. After a long trek there, we finally arrived, encountering more of those goat-people. Draenei, I think they're called. Our tasks were simple--kill ravagers (Whatever those were), find a man named Sedai and deal with more Fel Orcs. The last task pleased me the most--bastards had to pay.

Soundwave noted Sedai's corpse first as we were flying up to find those Fel Orcs.

After returning to the Temple, there was an air of bitterness. We were ordered to wreak revenge. Then, they told us of a crash that had occurred far south east. Deciding to go inspect that first, Scarab and I set off. Scarab was incredibly grumpy about all this flying, he complained about how his underside hurt from Soundwave's grip. The gryphon just clacked his beak, and I swear he grinned.

Oh. So -those- are ravagers...

They're kind of horrible looking. They're bestial, though. I suppose one as a companion could be nice, but Scarab seems dead set on sticking with me for the entire trip. Either way, we continued collecting eggs and fending off the ravagers. They're horribly protective of their eggs, but Scarab's chitinous armor did wonders in protecting him. He hunkered down low and snapped at their legs while they couldn't touch him.

After we gave the eggs to Legassi, one of the crash surviours, he asked that I kill hellboars nearby and clean their fel-tained meat. Ew, ew, ew. I've eaten some pretty nasty things while traveling, usually cause it was that or starve (I don't recommend Kibler Bits.) but cleansed hellboar meat? That just seems a bit...wrong. Ew. Okay, done thinking about that.

After that, he wanted Scarab and I to collect bird wings for him to cook up and eat. I'm not one to complain, but there are a lot of more important things I could be doing instead of merely gathering buzzard wings so Legassi can laugh at his pilot, Screed. Well. It's good enough pay, and I get free food (That bacon is going to Scarab or something. Eugh.) At least we also had to collect zeppelin parts too, so I didn't feel too useless.

It took longer than I'd like, if only because old habits die hard and shot many birds through the wing, rendering the meat useless. Once we gathered all the needed meat and debris, our next orders came through a rune on the hearthstone (It works a lot like a gnomecorder) to go to Shatter Point. The gryphon looked a bit dubious about carrying Scarab, so Soundwave came with.

Welcome to Shatter Point. The most dismal rocky ledge in the world.

The people seemed pleased enough to have me around, explaining how the place worked. And what to do if it tips. Well isn't that just great. Anyways, my first mission was a bombing run, which Scarab seemed pleased about. He got to rest while I flapped around on my bird. I threw as many bombs and explosions as I could, but it all just seemed so endless.

Then we were sent to Honor Point, which meant we were down playing with bombs, we were taking out the demons in person. Scarab was much more content to be on steady ground, and I couldn't blame him. I liked the sturdy ground too. Or as sturdy as you can get in the Peninsula, at least. After we killed a sufficient amount of demons, we had to kill their fel cannons. They were notorious for shooting innocent riders out of the sky, so we were glad to our part in keeping the skies safe.

Once the fel cannons were shut down, we had to close a wrath gate and kill a warlord. It was a struggle--there was a lot of them and I still wasn't fully well, but eventually we shut it down and returned to the Field Commander. Satisfied, he informed us to return to Honor Hold and take a break. I was glad to oblige, as I was utterly exhausted.

Till I write next, journal.
