It's been a long time since I posted in here, and I've realized that I tend to abuse this thread almost as badly as I do my diary (sorry, guys!).

But here we are again, and I have a lot of things I need to talk through, even if it's just to myself.

I've made a lot of mistakes in the past year. I didn't trust my gut on some things and ended up hurt. But that hurt lead me to something great and beautiful, even if I'm not really sure what that something great and beautiful actually is yet.

Okay, that's a lie. I know exactly what it is. I'm in love, and he's... I don't know what he is. He's him and we're not dating and I don't know if that will change. But even if I'm closing myself off to other options (like my mother tells me I am), I can't give him up. I can't give up tose small moments. They mean the world to me.

I can't give up falling asleep on a couch with his head on my chest and my head on his. I can't give up him holding me when I'm sobbing my eyes out. I can't give up him acting like a puppy because he's so tired and following me around everywhere. I can't give up him helping me off my desk like a goddamn gentleman even though he knows I can get down perfectly well on my own. I can't give up those looks. I can't give up the compliments. I can't give up those cute moments when he's playing a game and I'm talking with someone else and he decides to make it so I can see his DS too because he wants me to be part of that. I can't give up witty conversations. I can't give up sarcasm. I can't give up him.

And I can't make anyone else understand. My mom tells me I'm making a mistake. She says that I'm closing myself off to other men (but I don't want other men) and that I'm only going to end up hurt. That may be true. But for now, I'm okay with where I am with him. We may not be dating. Hell, we've never even kissed.

But he's special to me.

And it took being away from him for two weeks to realize just how special he is to me.

Is it weird that I'm spending my Thursday night watching ANTM while studying French? I feel like I should get on WoW instead, but... ANTM! I'm watching the very first season! ;A;

Oedipus you are my favorite fictional person. It's not your fault that your parents are incapable of finding uninhabited land, that your mother is a complete idiot and married someone with wounded ankles WHILE KNOWING HIS NAME, and that you killed some guy who woops uh he's actually your dad. Nor is it your fault that your daughters are also your sisters. Actually you just wanted to set everything right like a good person, it was those unforgiving, scumbag gods that did this to you anyway. Not only did they put together that prophecy, but then they punished YOU for it because clearly you chose for that to happen. And then once you suffered enough oh suddenly you're their favorite again.

In short- I just have all these Oedipus feels.

I was imagining just now how our pets go through portals in World of Warcraft. If we're thinking about this in a realistic way, that is. When we use mage portals would our pets jump in after us, or would we have to be touching them so that they're ported with our own bodies?

I have this mental image of Veph reaching up to take Skorn's claw in her hand and leading him through when she takes one.

V for Vendetta is a really good movie. I like that I can't decide if I like V. I guess they achieved what they wanted- like V's ideas and what he stands for, not so much the person. Although I do like the person. Almost.

Also Brave is cute, but really badly presented, which is disappointing. They could have done so much more.
