Ahh, I've really got to start drawing my own stuf again, rather then stealing other peoples pic...yay for random tiredness and finally discovering how to put pics up!! SMRT!!

Finally got my AR up and working again, having fun with my platinum game with it...and before you start the dissing the AR...I ONLY use it on a game I've beaten, and only on ONE of each sets games (ie, yellow, crystal, emerald, platinum) and only cuz I've played pokemon since it first came out, so I like to have a little hacker fun after awhile.

But I keep al my other games free of cheat

In my opinion...nothing beats the original badass ghost: Gengar (Giratina comes close tho) That evil smile is just awesome. Back in RBY he had some uniqueness...maiking him even better imho....I like uniqueness...(his evolution line were the only ghosts in existence: Gastly, Haunter, Gengar.....and they're all half poison) Dragonite was another one. While I didn't like him much (he's cool...just not as cool as others) he was top dragon for 2 generations in a row (RBY: him and his pre-evolutions were the only dragons....GSC: Kingdra came...but D.nite still topped it)....sadly now Salamence Garchomp, Rayquaza, Palkia, Dialga and Giratina all topple him. (he can still boast that he can pwn Kingdra, Flygon, and Altaria....tho all dragons can pwn Altaria....Kingdra still has a fighting chance against D.Nite tho....)

sry about goin off topic with the dragonite thing...was carrying off my "uniqueness" thing.

as for a Flying/Fighting type....hmmm......a bird with hands and feet with wings comin outta its back and it can do kung fu and stuff?

Pwning Flygon and Altaria? Hell no. Dragonite may be used in the OU tier, but so is Flygon! Flygon can do a LOT of things Dragonite can't, (And the other way around of course) but that does NOT mean that Dragonite can pwn Flygon. And don't even bring Altaria into this, she's meant for status support, and defensive stuff, not offensive like Dragonite. (Not to say that she can't be used for offense, I actually have an Altaria that I use for attacking. Dragon Dance+Dragon Rush FTW!)

Seriously, just because they do different things does not mean that one Pokemon is better than another. Flygon has many resistances that most other Dragon Pokemon have, and while Garchomp has the same typing, Flygon is immune to Ground along with the other resistances that comes along with its type, not to mention being able to learn Roost without ANY drawbacks.

All in all, Flygon is a MUCH different Dragon than Dragonite or Salamence, so its not fair to compare it to them like that. Same with Altaria, who is used for a much different reason than the rest of the Dragon Pokemon, so, again, saying that Dragonite can pwn them isn't fair whatsoever.

... Sorry if I sound a bit harsh with this, I'm just kinda sick of people comparing Pokemon that have MUCH different roles in battling as if they did the exact same thing. And NO ONE says stuff like that about my sweet Flygon when I'm around!

But I do agree that Gengar is freaking badass and is one of the best Ghost Pokemon ever. That and Haunter and the Shuppet evolution line <3

woah....geez....I think I struck a nerve there....sry....meant to say that it was my opinion O_O (I have tried a flygon...they are fun and stuffs.....nice change of pace from the normal team I use....considering he was the 1st dragon I've actually used......but all in all the small wall of text was all just my opinion, which is an opinion from someone who has never battled competitively due to once again...no DS...therefore no 4th gen games and therefore no Wifi battles.) Tell your Flygon I'm sorry XD!

Hehe, I remember that guy from Emerald and Ruby.. Never paid any attention to him back then, seeing as it was years ago that I last got to the Elite Four in those games and I've only recently started to adore Flygon.

ATM my fave elite 4 battle has to be the FR/LG Elite 4 rematch against Rival. His team was pretty nasty at first....but switching Pidgeot for Heracross and Rhydon for Tyranitar made the fight even harder lol. Wound up defeating him while lvling up my dragonair to evolve it into dragonite (was the last pokemon I needed for the Kanto pokedex)...it evolved in the prior battle against Lance.....and was the last Pokemon I sent out when the final attack was made (His Arcanine was the last Pokemon he used...it was nearly killed by Earthquake from Punisher [Nidoking]...it then defeated Punisher.....so I sent out D.nite....the loss seemed guarenteed...then I remembered.....Tyranitar's Sand Stream ability makes a PERMANENT sandstorm until a weather-changing move/ability is used......and I haven't used any. Champion Rival's final Pokemon, Arcanine, was defeated by his teammate's Sandstorm. lol!
Rival's Team:
Arcanine (If he started with Charmander, he will not have this...my rival took Squirtle at the start sooo...)
Alakazam
Heracross (he opens the battle with this in the rematch...replaces Pidgeot)
Exeggutor (If rival chose Bulbasaur at start....he will not have this)
Tyranitar (replaces Rhydon....will summon a permanent sandstorm)
Blastoise (his starter...as with all pkmn games...its the one that dominates ur starter)
Note: If he did not start with Squirtle, replace Exeggutor (if he chose bulbasaur) or Arcanine (if he chose Charmander) with Gyarados


Team used for the fight:
Cinder (Charizard)
Tron (Porygon2)
Punisher (Nidoking)
Electro (Electabuzz)
Rodriguez (Slowbro.....again...if you get the reference...a cookie shall be yours)
Dragonite (I only name Pokemon that are on my main team....D.nite was here cuz I brought it into the E4 to leech exp for evolution to finally finish a pokedex)

Cinder has Dragon Claw, Steel Wing, Flamethrower, and Fly
Tron has Ice Beam, Sunny Day, Solar Beam, and Thunderbolt
Punisher has Megahorn (who knew that a BUG type move was so powerful...lol), Ice Beam, Earthquake, and Shadow Ball
Electro has Thunder, Rain Dance, Psychic (Electabuzz with ESP...who knew...?), and Iron Tail
Rodriguez has Psychic, Surf, Ice Beam, and Flamethrower (yup...Slowbros/pokes/kings can breathe fire)
Dragonite had basic lvl up moves it never used

Heracross was easy....his 4x weakness to Flying (he's Bug/Fighting) was his downfall....1 Fly was all it took. Alakazam was also cake....his horrendously low defense made the supereffective shot from Megahorn that much more deadly for him (tho his speed let him get off a quick Psychic before I could hit him...nearly killing Punisher)...Exeggutor was easy due to 4x weakness to Megahorn...T.tar was tricky....took down Slowbro...but Charizard got him with a few Steel wings....Blastoise was taken down with Electro's Thunder (Blastoise was kind enough to pop a Rain Dance for me...took 2-3 hits)...Arcanine got blasted by Earthquake from Nidoking....then Nidoking was killed by Arcanine......I switched to D.nite....Sand Stream was still in effect....Arcanine gets defeated by T.tar's sandstorm. I is victorious! (before you ask...he sent out T.tar AFTER Blastoise was knocked out...hence why Sand Stream was still up)
