Re: Soriid the Devourer
Tamed Haarka on live because I love the long nose (Going to name him Gonzo.) and shifty eyed glance of 'the tick'. But his little 'normal' silithid dance and wiggle is really growing on me. Never thought I'd become attached to a giant bug.Slickrock wrote:Finally found Haarka, so I have him on one hunter, Soriid on the other, and time will tell what happens. Had to bid adieu to my Blueblood (Blue-Black Trex) for a while, since I also have Krush in the stable. But I must say, after chasing him for a while, and also doing pvp with a silithid on Naak, I'm getting kinda fond of them.

When you search an NPC on WoWhead, the address for the page has the NPC's code in the address. For example, Haarka's page is http://www.wowhead.com/npc=8205.Slickrock wrote:What's Haarka's NPC code, so I can enter him in NPC Scan?
Just sayin'.

Re: Soriid the Devourer
Interesting fact: Even though one of my hunters is not a beast master in beta (due to being level 60 and I obviously now need more talent points!) I can still drag out the new & improved Haarka and Soriid from the stables - however my Tan Silithid Ravager won't as he's 'exotic'!
Strange as they are all classed as Silithids. Does this suggest that each individual beast is marked as exotic or not as opposed to the family?

Just don't get used to it

No please no, I don't want Zavas to turn into a brainbug, I didn't tame her to be turned into a brainbug, it'd be like Blizz going and making Clack black like they did. It makes no sense and makes me sad

Now I'm not opposed to there being a yellow brainbug implimented, but please, not Zavas.

Re: Soriid the Devourer
The Old World rares have very different timers - all the way from the 30 minutes or so of the Glutchmother and Mazzranache to King Mosh's whole week.Tilo wrote:I read up on Rare - Haarka the Ravenous - there's no time limit given' however for Silithid Ravager it lists about 10-12hrs, because Haarka the Ravenous is listed as "rare" would that be about the same too? Asking because I am thinkin Haarka is a lot more colorful than Ravager plus I didn't want to make a new thread ^^

Re: Soriid the Devourer
Heh, I know the feeling. Even though Mazzranache has one of the shortest timers ever, I never seem to find him when I'm looking to tame him. :PTwila wrote:I scanned the whole area for Haarka for days now, even have my hunter logged at the green hive to scan about, but my rare finder never goes off. Yet if I wonder over to the pink hive, Sor is there each time. It's kinda refreshing that Sor seems always there for me, makes wanting Haarka all the more cause hes hiding from me and I seem to have a better shot at getting Sor if we get the new stable slots before cata.
