Nice re-imagining. Haunters image was great. While the others would look right at home in some if they turned Pokemon into a live-action show.

Update: Ok my new little Larvesta has been fully EV trained and she's evolved into a Volcarona (lvl 59 wasn't really all that hard to reach!)
Her name is Gypsy. Her moveset is nearly complete...she just needs to hit lvl 70 to pick up her last move (Bug Buzz).
Her moveset so far: Flamethrower (TM'ed), Psychic (TM'ed), Quiver Dance (learned as soon as it evolves), and Take Down (learned as a Larvesta...getting replaced with Bug Buzz)

Finally managed to drag my ragtag gaggle of level 50 pokemon through the Elite Four on Black! Huzzah! Decided to explore a lit-... Oh! Triple battle, s- LEVEL 65 EEEEYWAT. So confused. Keep getting smushed! D:

The eigth gym's top pokemon is only lvl 43
E4's top pokemon are lvl 50
and the last trainer in the storyline's top pokemon is lvl 54
