I think this near-confirms that mantid tanks aren't going to be tamable, if Dread Wastes mobs are marked/tagged tamable with this patch.

So um. Basically, I expect almost everything to be tameable.. so if you could just tell me things that aren't tameable (that should be), that'd be awesome. Or, if something is tameable but it's weird, and of course keep posting color changers or just new beasts in general.

Found a new crab, an orange cata crab with purple markings named Kalan'ii. LEvel 91 elite. Tameable (except for the... level 91 part... hehe).
Doesnt say he/she is a quest mob... just htere.
Also, it's a huge crab, rofl.

as far as i can tell the outland water striders are all tameable now. Boglash also recieved a new skin so marticar is now the only white outland water strider in existance.

Not sure whether to like it or not, but I guess it strengthens the Outland Strider niche somewhat, having an exclusive rare. : )

i almost forgot to mention that outland hydras are still not tameable but i have much hope that before beta is over blizz will flip that switch since the family and all is made and waiting to be activated.

I know Boglash has a misty green aura around him that makes him hard to see as white, or at least he use to. Normally I'd go by the portrait which does indeed look like the green one in that screenshot, only the blue one you have targeted in the other screenshot also has the green portrait. Boglash might still be white underneath the aura after taming, it's worth checking perhaps.

I wouldn't hold my breath on hydras, I think if we were getting them for MoP they would have already gone through with the pet pass. Perhaps later in the expansion, or in the next expansion. At this point in time it doesn't seem likely.

nope the tamed one next to me in the first screenshot is boglash tamed.....it is kinda partially clipping into my mount

Mutated Silkworms now tamable (red ones in Vally)
