Just stumbled across this thread after getting my laptop fixed (don't ask - Samsung managed to damage the OS whilst attempting to fix a non responsive mouse clicker -_-).
Good luck with your TLPD. Up to my laptop going down I was doing upto 12 hours a day in SP plus random fly bys at silly hours
The really frustrating thing is I saw my first ever TLPD on my second day of camping. He spawned at the Frozen Lake, and I attempted to aggro him in mid air (had no slow-falls >.<), just as I was at a safe distance to drop, he was deathgripped from under me A passer-by DK took him -_-
Since then I've had confirmed reports of 1 x spawn at Brunn, 2 x Frozen Lake and 1 x Waterfall. Problem is, on Kul Tiras, the Frozen Lake is always camped by at least 3 ppl since my first miss, and at all hours too.
IMO Aeonaxx was cake-walk easy! The fear of missing a spawn somewhere around SP is awful I'm very paranoid lol! Especially since I also missed TLPD twice by 10 minutes by giving in and going to bed
Anyways, good luck hun! Take breaks in between Vyra spawns, take some screenshots to entertain yourself. Watch youtube videos of TLPD, and check out this website: http://tlpdresource.com/ - the forums has loads of sightings, videos and kill stories Makes you believe he still exists!
I've stopped my TLPD camp because of the amounts of rares flooding into Molten Front (I'm basically the person who monitors every spawn spot SOME way). And yes, good luck Aela, he will come someday...*puts carrot on a rope and ties rope to stick* Carrot on a stick might help?
I read your ticket with yuor troubles with Taytron. Being a player myself who mostly loves the PVE aspect, I too am on a PVP server due to my friends being only on those servers. Being camped isn't always fun, can suck sometimes, but players on this realm have a greater ability to resolve issues on their own. Based on this, certain policies may be different from those on non-PvP realms.
The Ongoing Harassment policy does not apply on the PvP realm when there is a PvP resolution available. Characters have the ability to deal with their conflicts through combat, and Game Masters will only involve themselves in extreme circumstances.
Actions that would typically be considered "dishonorable actions" are considered PvP mechanics and are not considered harassment. Corpse Camping and repeatedly attacking and/or killing an NPC are examples of things that are not harassment.
...I officially want to sob. I could understand if I had any way to fight back or if he hadn't done this for eight hours, but... I'll keep the ticket up. If he starts again, I'm going to say I still have a problem. I have no "ability to death with [my] conflicts through combat" in this case. And I find it hard to believe that eight hours of corpse camping is not considered harassment.
I'm just a bit upset that this is the first thing I wake up and see.
That GM is a moron. Write a new ticket, and find a new GM. Something CAN and WILL be done about it if you keep trying.
For goodness sake, I reported a guy simply for stacking on me while I camped Aeonaxx. One ticket and the guy got banned. Banned as far as I know anyway, since he never came back.
I've made my own journal now at least. So we can both sit in pain and misery together. c:

Why don't you try just flying up in the air for a bit, out of his reach? Sure, he can still attack you and then fall to his death, but it won't get him far.

That sounds absolutely horrible, Aela... definitely keep the ticket up, that GM really is a moron! Eight hours of corpse camping is just completely unfair and definitely is harassment, PVP server or not.
Just give the BM bad feedback and keep the ticket up until you get the answer you're satisfied with.
The warrior is back, but this time I managed to mount up after he killed me the second time. Flew out, waited for him to notice me. By the time he did, I was fully healed. He flew out, attacked and fell. Somehow, his hits didn't do as much damage as normal. I survived. He fell to his death.
I am amused. He's still here and he's sitting im my camp spot. But if TLPD flies below us? Well, for some reason he only has 280% flight speed and I'm in the better position.(;
And the second I hit submit, Vyra flies into range. Below me. I so killed her. He hasn't done anything, so I'm guessing he's still tabbed out. Probably isn't in the room or something. I just /shrugged at him and went back to my usual place.
That makes four kills by me and two by others that I've seen and one sketchy report.
Funny how Vyra spawned exactly twelve hours later. Extra funny how I was just thinking, "Oh, she should spawn now, it's been twelve hours".
Okay, so I tried using the /point method to let him see I killed Vyra. In return, he kills me as I'm logging out. Why is that even possible? I had to go and rez just so I could quit the game alive. :1
Anyway, I've got at least three hours. Time to do... something.
That warrior needs a slap around the face. What a child. Every now and then, a DK flies over to me and attempts to kill me, but I always fly up out of range when he tries. So I really dunno how you're always getting killed... Fair enough if you're AFK or tabbed out though. But where exactly are you camping?

Again, I understand that it is a PvP server. But eight hours of harassment, which you can easily see is what was going on based on my replied to this ticket, cannot be classified as anything other than an extreme circumstance, to use your wording. I have no way to defend myself since, as I said, I am six levels lower than him. Again, I understand that in most circumstances this does not matter and that it is still allowed by the rules of the game. However, these do not seem to be "most circumstances".
I understand that a lot of people exaggerate their stories and that, especially with cases like corpse camping, it is hard to know who is telling the truth.
I only talked to him once, and that was to ask him to stop. I was polite, though not my most polite, and once he made it clear that he was not going to stop all I did was ask him to again and reiterate that I was willing to share the camp spot. I have not made any contact with him since. I have never retaliated. I have never asked any of my friends or guild members to do something about him.
I do not want this person to be banned. I would just appreciate it if someone talked to him. Killing someone for eight hours is nothing if not ridiculous.
I'm sorry that someone has to answer this again, but I do not feel like this issue has been resolved.

WHAT THE F*CK?! WHAT KIND OF RETARDED GM'S DO YOU GET IN THAT COUNTRY?! OH MY GOD, I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW I COULD SCREAM!
Post it on the forums. Post exactly what's going on, nothing more, nothing less. Maybe a blue poster can be a bit nicer about this and maybe you can get fellow players to agree with you that these GMs are completely WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG. If you want to camp, why shouldn't you be allowed to? But you CAN'T. Because this guy IS BLOODY HARASSING YOU. This is a waste of YOUR money. A total WASTE. Why? Because you're not doing what you want to do with that money. PvP realm or not, that is total, total bullshit. I cannot believe this. I really can't. Are GMs really that ignorant and useless these days?
Something NEEDS to be done. I didn't like Acti-Blizzard to begin with, now this just makes it worse. What idiots.
... Also, what level are you? I didn't realise you were camping on a low level char...

Also, I know you haven't asked anyone to help you out, but try it. Ask some friends and guildmates to come along. No, not a few, invite an entire flock of them along to deal with this guy. If Blizzard won't do anything about it, you'll have to. Also, take some screenshots if you decide to. I want to put this guy on my wall of FAIL.

Heh, wall of fail. Okay, joking over. The GMs are effin retarded (excuse my french). You're not a NPC you're a PLAYER. I have even had a GM say "New ability for rogues!" in one of my reporting tickets. I'm like, "I. Said. Nothing. About. God. Damn. Rogues." Gms need to work on how they deal with things, because a lot of people would leave because of that ticket response....

Wow. Anyway, good luck Aela!
Edit- I made this for the thread / you. Maybe it has some good luck in it!
