That's not a bad idea at all, Nili. As bad as it was, when I camped TLPD and Aeonaxx, a lot of my Guild fell out with me (including my GM) accusing me of being selfish and not spending time with people as much as I could. My girlfriend never complained to me, but I really feel like I neglected her too. :< I just shut everything else off; nothing was more important than getting those mounts, at that current time. I'm so proud of you for stepping back and realizing there are more important things. *hugs*

Who knows, maybe Aeo will see that too.

Same here when I camped TLPD. People always whined I wasn't doing anything with them. It isn't selfish at all to camp though. You're on the game to do whatever you wanna do, not what someone else wants you to do all the time. I just told them to let me get on with it since it's my money that's paying to play the game anyways. (Can't wait until they're smart enough to make the game FTP...)

Well I'm the leader of my guild, and I've worked far too hard to just let it fall apart because of a pixel. Sure, it's a pretty pixel, but they need me there in the raids, they need me to be involved again. I refuse to let this drake be the downfall of my marriage and my guild.

Ah, that's suddenly a bit different then... Being a guild member, fair enough, but leader too? Sigh... You have a lot of responsibilities and making sure people stay entertained enough to remain in the guild... I would know, I helped lead a guild once... I hated it. I don't have the patience. (But apparently have the patience to camp rares. ) But I'm sure you're a much better leader than me, and a good wife too, so I'm glad to see you've added some 'rules' to this camp. I hope Aeonaxx realises how good you're being and perhaps he'll show his face when you least expect it.

Hey guys,

I stopped the camp, I can only stomach sitting there for a few hours now, and that doesn't really count as a day, so my counter has stopped.

A fellow horde with 14k achievement points and all but the PSD mount showed up ontop of me two days ago. He's not said a word and never goes <Away> so he's anti-afking. I'm not against it, but it's such a dickish move that I just stop whenever I see him. :S

I'm doing the deepholm dailies and checking every now and then. But, I've all but given up on this quest for Aeonaxx.

While I've been off doing other things, my raid group in the guild is now 6/7 Firelands. We got Rag down to 15% (technically 5%)..hoping to take him down tonight..provided a certain guildie gets better.

the only positive I can think of is - I think every mount hunter on here has missed their prey this way (I know I did 3 times with TLPD!) so maybe, just maybe, you will get him next time!!

So all week, been sick with this damn cold. My father-in-law had an operation, we have to buy a new car..

and I've not had a single spawn.

I said this week was the week he would spawn at a reasonable hour. I said this week would be my week.

I logged off my hunter and onto my priest to help a guildie get her VP for the week.
At the last boss that alliance stacker...well he's not a stacker now, and he's not alliance. He's a fellow hordey and a fellow guildie.
he linked the reigns in guild chat and told me he killed him where I was camping.
Today would have been the day I got my life back. Today would have been the day...

I don't know what to do anymore. I really really dont.

This guy, this fellow guildie. Was my fellow camper for weeks now. I have no ill will towards him, and actually respect him somewhat more than I did before. He was the only guildie allowed to camp for him while I was camping. At least it was his kill and not some random's who did a fly-by.

I'm just absolutely gutted now...

aw nili. I can feel you there, being compared when I was camping karkin. I had to help a friend for a few minutes, and the other camper when I came back told me, he spawned where I was camping. I was devastated. Never give up hope =) You'll get your spiffy Aeonaxx someday...or I'll come out there and beat Aeonaxx myself to spawn for you.

And the person that was stacking you, he may have purposely done that, but he may have been planning to transfer for a while.
