This thread is fantastic!!..I got Sambas!! YAY!! I was flying around looking for Karoma..and I realized I started flying the wrong way in Sambas's direction I didn't stop I just kept going all the sudden NPC Scan went nuts, made me jump I landed and at first I couldn't find him luckily my macro found him..he was behind a tree..I think I said to myself hiding Sambas?..lol anyways I quickly tamed him, because there are many hunters around earlier tonight I saw five hunters camping different areas of where Sambas can spawn.

I thought I had no chance of getting either pet tonight but I got my Lion..hes the cutest lion ever..I love him

...what do you mean 'sitting at spawn-points and doing laps for hours on end, while not questing at all' doesn't count as 'casual'? It counts as a fly-by if I fly from one spot to the other, right? Right?

Dear King Krush,

I flew haplessly across Sholazar Basin, fearfully eyeing up the non-hunters camped in notable rare's spawn points. Augh! It's been months and it's not surprising I've only seen your corpse! Swore to give up the hunt after a last night of camping. After all, Un'goro devilsaurs look pretty fantastic too!

But... YOU'RE GREEN! /grabbyhands

While doing my laps for Krush, I stumbled upon someone else...

Loque! How did you get out of my stables!? >:C

I tried to leave him... But... Someone might've ganked him! Knowing he'd make a hunter happy, I tagged and trapped the elusive spirit beast, frantically broadcasting in as many channels as possible to find her a new home.

I sat there. For 45 minutes.

Just when I was on the verge of leaving him be, a night elf fell out of the sky. 'Twas the traditional "AUGH RARESPAWN DISMOUNT TAME AUGH TOO HIGH AUGH FALL DAMAGE" fall! They begged and frantically rolled their toon in circles. And finally tamed. 8D

REJOICING WAS HAD! But alas, forgot to take a screenshot. We /cheered, /hugged and headed our seperate ways. It's 4 AM! I'm half asleep!

Started flying back to a safer area to retire for the ni- BUUUUUWWWWWWWWWWM BUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Can finally... Finally... Stop camping and have more than two hours sleep. Haven't had a good night's worth of sleep since I started hunting for him! It's been a long, long, three months, but toodleoo, Sholazar Basin!

I love you; really. You're all... rhino'y. And furry. But please stop walking your yellow neutral dots over Skoll's spawn points, please. My heart skips a beat every time I see that dot.

Oh and Skoll - you can spawn anytime now =D

I tried to go quest in Hyjal and... kinda wound up back camping in Storm Peaks. Herp derp.

@ Clou, lol! I know what you mean about questing in one spot and somehow finding yourself somewhere else. Mysterious how that happens......

Hmm - just had a Druid send a tell saying they thought Skoll had been removed; then said they wanted it on their Hunter - I can't tell if they're trying to 'scare me off' or not - I figured if Skoll was removed, I'd have heard about it from you lot

I need to queeest to make monies to get epic flying for this girl. But what if he spawns, and my mount isn't fast enough to get there? The logical thing would be 'get epic flying', but if I leave these spots, he might spawn /QQ Yes, there are always respawns, but if I'm out of the area, I won't even get a time, and I'll be back to the same problem tomorrow xD

EDIT: Ehehhe got him! =D HE WAS HIDING. I was flopped out at the spawnpoint north of the Temple of Storms - alt'tabbed out, reading the forums. I tab back in,and notice a blue thing to my left - tiny compared to the rather large Jormungar who was hanging around there - yep; it was Skoll

Oddly, I had no warning-drums from NPCScan even when I flew over there (and no, he wasn't cache'd) Dropped a trap, Conc-shot, tame; smooth as a smooth-thing.

Earlier, I was lurking by the manhole cover spawnpoint, and NPCScan drummed at me (HEARTATTACK); but it was just Vyragosa. Killed her (though she was always out of range of my pet for whatever reason, so I Hunter-tank'd it (she used purely ranged moves, so it wasn't hard).) That was at 5.07am. I got Skoll at 6.10am.

I CAN FINALLY QUEST o-o Time to get out of this zone for a sec, so I can get a proper look at my lightning-puppy, without fear of giving another Hunter false hope ^^

Dear Karoma and Ghostcrawler,

Ghostcrawler sweety, I gave you away to my brother who has wanted you since we first knew anything about you during Beta - but how come you don't want a forever home with me?

Karoma - I have always wanted a spirit guide, I used every possible means to tame one back when you were the normal mob (bloodlust, drums, haste potions) but alas I was too lil back then. I am always careful what I name my pets and how they are treated, you won't simply be another 'Fluffy' on my server I promise.

Not even a week ago I gave you to a nice hunter to look after you, now I want you for myself to look after and hunt with!

After you that's it for me for rares for a while because I have them all except JadeFang but he will come eventually.

Dear Thread,

Thank you for finally coaxing Sambas out of hiding. I caught him yesterday at 4:15pm server time, after telling myself that I wouldn't get him that day. I should have know better, Thread. For after all, he is a cat. And all my hunts for large rare cats of such "sought-afterness" take at least a week. And so it was with Sambas.

So, Thread, my large and handsome lion is padding by my side now, looking a little bemused over his new place, but he'll get used to the idea. It'll sink in better once I name him.

But now I've a new dilemma on my huntering hands. A certain scorpion has caught my eye. I'm not picky about color, I'll take what I get, so if you see fit, Thread, (and even if you don't), one Madexx, please. Preferably before I go mad.

And thread, you are really going to have to do a good job now.. too many miners in Uldum, so I'm going fishing.. gonna have to be really careful when you get Madexx to spawn.. (green or blue please)
