Vengeance of the Soultakers

Buzzard followed Solara and Darkrai, very glad that they had the Lord of Nightmares on their side this time. He kept the fires on his back burning bright to light up the ruins.

Lark looked over at Arkon, noting his downtrodden expression. She padded over to him, poking him in the shoulder. "Perk up, Arkon. We can take them. We've got the power. It seems like we always won before, so says Summer, so why'll it be different this time?"

[Moonlost]

And kicking off the epic adventure for the good guys finally.))

"Look, whomever is leading this doesn't matter right now. Pre-empting them before they do any real damage is." Baaz responded. "I'm sure we shall find the truth in this matter eventually."

"Fah, I suppose you're right there." Venin responded, shaking her head.

"We need to get going and try and find these artifacts. Or at least to confront Buzzard and see what's happening." The Arcanine moved over to the door leading outside and looked over his shoulder. "I'll be leaving in a few minutes, those who wish to come, prepare for the trials ahead. I don't know if we'll be coming back soon."

Venin sighed, resting her head in Phantom's mane. "That damned Arcanine can get so melodramatic at times... Should we help with this, Love? I want to see this though, but I don't want to put Asher in any danger either."

"What was it like? Evolving I mean." Asher asked both Ivyka and Rust. "Did it hurt at all?"

[Lupis]

Lark looked over to Baaz, then back to Arkon. "Well? Lets go!" she whispered, not even thinking of not going as an option. As long as Sosa and Summer didn't see them leave...

[Azunara]

"Nah. It was a bit scary and surprising at first, and sore later, but beyond that it wasn't too bad." Ivika pricked her ears, hearing Baaz and looking at her new friends. "I'm going to help. Are you two going as well?" She asked, tilting her head. "I mean, if the owner of this place will allow me to stay, then I'd like to protect my new home." She said seriously.

[Kira]

Arkon blinked as he looked at Lark, giving her a little smile. His tail wagged again as he stood up, nodding. "I'm so ready to get going. M'bored here." He flicked his ears forward as he shook himself out, then glanced around. Did he need anything? Nope...he didn't think so. "I'm ready to go now then."

[Lupis]

Lark grinned, bouncing on her paws. "Good!" her voice dropped to a whisper, "Hopefully Baaz won't notice that, as young as we are, we shouldn't be going." There was a light in her eyes, eager to get away from the house and - more importantly - see the world. She knew she didn't need anything to bring with her, either.

[Moonlost]

Asher looked over his shoulder to stare at his parents. He knew they were pretty easy going, but there was a difference between going to play in the forest and going to fight. But he also couldn't imagine them just leaving him here either.
"I will be, I think." He said after a while, turning back to look at Ivyka. "Or at least I'll be trying my hardest to go along!"

[Azunara]

Ivika grinned brightly, "If you're worried about getting hurt, I'll keep you alive." She said proudly, glad to help her new friends in anyway possible. "I'm glad you might be going. Maybe you'll evolve while we're traveling, too!" She said, cheerfully.

There were a few Dusk spies hovering nearby, and they heard Baaz's outburst well enough. With a hiss, the ghost types faded carefully, sending a quiet mental note to Solara and Buzzard. They were searching for the same things. The psyceon hissed irritably. At least the Dusk would seen some action. They would weed out the weak.

Cherrie calmed down bored since there was really nothing intteresting going on since all there was was another talk about another oh-so dangerous war going on thats not of the dusk, dusk reforming a weird icecle fanged sabre toothed cat thing appered with a leafeon ripping the doorapart. OH! and theres also a bunch of soul loving humans that like to eat souls apperently. I could have been more interresting likeeeeeeeeee... a ring of a bunch of arena blood matches! and...cherrie stiffened she walked up to the window climbing out of it she attacked a bush, only to see a dusk in the bush(if thats alright) or an old dusk "HAR! I found you! no one fools the ol mightly cherrie nose of food finding!"

[Azunara]

The Dusk stood stiff-still as they were spotted. They paused, looking at each other. They chittered something quietly among each other, then looked back at Cherrie, churring something. One of them, a fearow, asked, "Do you wish to join the New Dusk in their crusade? If not, we're going to have to kill you. No offense or anything."

[rubybeam]

"No way to hell." cherrie said blankly seemingly saying the statement as if she was half bored "Beisides I don't care if you try to kill me or not death is no different from life right~?" she smiled as a bit of humor to her voice "Besides I could have been an assasain or something in my past and you probably won't stand a chance while I turned your feathery ass in my supper..speaking of which I'm hungry now really really hungry" she stuck her toungue at at the fearow

[Azunara]

The Dusk seemed baffled. They had the Voices to guide them before....Solara came to their rescue, hissing, "You have numbers. Kill her now, before the others notice." The New Dusk, given a purpose, looking at Cherrie, coughing. "Okay. So, uh...One of our leaders have spoken, and we'll have to kill you now."

The fearow looked at his companions, a pidgeot, a gengar, and a houndoom. "Right."

Dusk Fearow used Aerial Ace!
Pidgeot used Fly!
Gengar used Shadow Punch!
Houndoom used Fire Fang!

Cherrie immdeatly got into action after getting hit by all the attacks she appered to be on the ground dead, still for only a few secounds before standing up again, she hunched in an attack position claws fully out and what appered to be freshly sharpened. it was four on one so she knew she needed to buy herself some time "You all are ugly! bah! I bet you even looked uglyer in your old dusk forms heck! even kanmimpi hated it so much she had to dress you up with her terrible taste of colours before she was fine with how she looked!" while talking she was scanning weaknesses, thinking deciding a plot

[Azunara]

The Dusk growled irritably, and leaped forward once more.

Dusk Houndoom used Beat Up!
Other Dusk used Beat Up! (Dusk Houndoom's.)

"Ow! hey! that hurts!" cherrie frowned trying to relitate back with her sharpened claws also having a glorious idea in mind, the others were in such stitches about these new dusk... booming out her voice she tried to warn them about the dusk here "Hey!!!!!~ Oi!~ theres dusk here~"

[Azunara]

The New Dusk paused. That blew their cover. They looked at each other, and reporting was more important than killing, right? They were disoriented, and they fell back a bit, watching Cherrie with hostility.

((And now we wait for others. >.<))

Cherrie looked at the dusk taking note of thier hostility she immdeatly thrust her arms into the air seeming to be in a cheery mood again "I win~" she half purred

[Azunara]

They looked at each other, and the fearow replied, "The Dusk will rise and destroy the Dawn. You can't begin to hope to beat us." It didn't sound sure of itself, but a quiet, encouraging hiss in its mind and the fearow and its team launched another barrage of attacks, ready for any incomers.

Dusk Houndoom used Flamethrower!

"Well heck if you really want to know all the sheapards rehatched as babies and if we can get them together again maybe we can stop you again" cherrie stuck out her toungue again started to get tired of being hit and dodgeing "Where the hell are you guys its here~ over here!"

[Azunara]

The New Dusk hissed at the word. "Never. We will kill them. We will right the wrongs. The Dusk were supposed to win. Scarab will be avenged. You will not stop us. Never. Never. They will lead us to victory. The Mirror...It will save us." They said, in a jumbled unison, striking again.
