I don't get the multiple account fuss either :/ Someone on tumblr today said it would really upset dominance battles as you would be able to 'spy' on other elements and see when they would push. This seems a stupid, lame excuse to me - people have husbands, wives, boyfriends, friends etc in other elements anyway, and I'm sure they aren't super secretive about what goes on in the forums I help my friends in wind, arcane, light and plague when they were pushing (mainly to help them win prizes in raffles) we defo don't keep it all hush hush between us

To me, they really have to fix the expansion costs - I don't mind the 5 spaces per expansion, but reduce the cost. I can't gene up projects as I'm constantly saving for expansions - I daren't breed all my pairs as if babies don't sell, they are taking up room - and exalting them doesn't pay back what they cost!

Also - its totally stupid that for the price of a single primary gene with discount, I can buy anything between 2 and 7 of the dragons fully gene'd that I'm trying to achieve! /end-rant.

So much this. They could even work it into lore. Example: If you're maxed on lair space , unlock a new lair by having one of your dragons decide to leave the now crowded lair in search of a place to expand the clan. The 2 clans would be allies, kin, and united.

I really do not understand why they are so uptight about the one account thing. they make the expansion so expensive and give you a max number of slots to buy so sooner or later everyone will NEED more slots or a new account or they will just leave. I have made many painful exaltation because that max dragon limit looms over me and I need to keep some free space going.
Also I don't get the whole clan divide that some people are worrying about. Most of the interaction I have seen has been players helping each other out regardless of their loyalties and most of them have friend and family in opposing clans so i don't see how extra accounts would change things. As for fair grounds if someone is actually capable of grinding out 75k on two account then they deserve it- that place is nasty. (Also i personally don't care about dominance. people spend more money on cheap dragons to exalt than the shop discounts are worth.)

Also really eager for the next signup window to show up. I don't know what happened but the market is plummeting again. I cant get anything to sell and what is selling is going for half the price it was worth a few weeks agao. I just had to exalted a coatl worth 240k, sold a dragon for 80k that was worth 250 when the nest was incubating, and i have a bunch of x/x/y x/y/x and x/x/x dragons that look like they will need to be exalted.

People will exploit the crap of multi accounts. Gathering, Crim, Pinkerton, Treasure cap from games, Daily treasure and gems. Heck, some people might use multi accounts to get around someone blocking so they can continue to harass.
More lair space I guess would help, but I personally can't picture someone having that many dragons o_o I know a few people do though.

Frankly, Bowno, there really isn't any way for them to keep you from making extra accounts as it is. All you need is another email address (and since gmail/other free accts work, it's limitless) and the sense to not constantly ferry crap back and forth between them.

TBH I know three people that have two accounts or more, and their staff has never caught them. If asked, it's so easy to just say 'that's my sister/cousin/uncle/nephew/cat'. How do they know? They don't. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a LOT of people with extra accounts already. They just need to remove the stupid unenforceable rule. Also what about all those 'abandoned' accounts belonging to people who left after becoming bored? Would it kill anyone to let someone 'adopt' them? Or, you know, just leave a lair full of utterly unfed dragons laying around forever; if they're worried about server space so badly that they don't allow additional accounts, what do they plan to do about abandoned accounts? As the site goes on and people get more and more bored as their lairs fill up and there's nothing to do... this will be an increasing problem.

Also, re: the "abuse"... Pinkerton usually gives you a single food item or useless piece of junk, Crim pays peanuts for the same food items (or else sub-market value for other items) and most of the time if you have a lair of any size, you're burning all your turns just to feed the dragons you have. I can't remember the time I got more than 5 digging or scavenging turns to burn. (and I never get anything good either).

And Coli? Look, if you want to sit there and waste 10 hours of your day being bored mindless in Coli, more power to you. I mean hell, in WoW, there's people that go out there and spend ages farming and so what? The stuff is there, why not? And hell, in Coli you aren't even 'stealing resources from other people' since every coli game is independent. What harm does it do.

God I am so mad. I have my brightly colored fruity spirals up for 6k on the AH. They won't be every bodies cup of tea, I know that. BUT. I just got the RUDEST FR message ever. Someone messaged me that I'm contributing to the problem of AH clogging with "Your fucking ugly spirals. That NOBODY wants." and then they went on to tell me that as an older FR member I should know better. Then they said they were half tempted to snatch them up and name all three WE, ARE, and UGLY. They said they'd exalt them and maybe teach me not to breed ugly ass babies anymore. God I'm furious. I'm just SO MAD.

I happen to like fruit-colored dragons. It's the muddy gray ones that seem to clog up the AH all the time. That person is just being a chode, Glain. Though if you don't want people doing that to your dragons... pre-name the cheap ones. I wish I had, on several occasions. And yes, report them. (Not that the staff will probably do anything; I reported an offensive baby name and it still hasn't been changed.)

@Nacht - Thank you, that's very kind. I was thinking about prenaming them but I want them to sell at the same time. I may just give them all the same name/or different names and just sell them that way.

I like my dark-colored dragons, but that's really fucking uncalled for. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and just because they don't like the oddly-colored dragons doesn't mean they have to be a prick about it, jesus.

Report them! I ADORE bright funky colours - hence why my lair has no real theme, its just lovely chaos of colours - but that doesn't give me the right to dis pastel or monotone sellers - so sorry you had to deal with that x

Thank you all for your support. I admit I was really put off and shocked. It was very unexpected. The good apples make up for the bad though. The spirals were made a pair and bred especially for crazy colors. They were a gift from a famous tumblr FR user miniprof/Candy Dragons on tumblr. They liked crazy colors and I fell in love wit them as a pair. I've named the babies Mango, Dragonfruit, and Papaya. Just in case anything is tried, they've been reported and blocked by myself though. :3
