Deoxys tilted his head, "How? I didn't bring back the ones I killed...I didn't really do much to atone for it...."

"If you were allowed to continue, however, you would've killed hundreds others. By stopping, you saved those lives." Palkia grinned, "Besides. You're part of the Balance. Killing you would've distorted it even more than what you would've done."

Deoxys was confused, "Part of the balance? But what role do I fulfill....all of you legendaries have some role...yet I'm just a space virus...what possible role do I have in the Balance?"

"Everything has its role to play in the Balance. From the smallest Weedle to Arceus himself. To take one of these elements out would disturb it. If you had not come, then things would be different. Ciro would never exist, for example. Speck might've been stuck in that prison of a lab forever. Ghost would never meet Solara. What you did was bring Pokemon together, to defend themselves and others. Your coming did benefit, Deoxys."

Deoxys thought about it, he was right, "But...how does that help atone for the bad things I've done..."

[Azunara]

"Despite the lives you took, you have brought lives to others. You have done bad things, but we all have done bad things we've regretted. We must move on and continue life, knowing that we are not a bad person, and do good things to make the world just a little brighter." Palkia replied.

Solara panted, leaning against a tree. She sat down, her rush of anger finished. She sighed. She was such an idiot, causing this much attention in the middle of an area likely infested with Dusk?

Deoxys thought about Palkia's words, "....Your right....thank you Space Lord..."

Chomp ran up to Sol, "Are you ok?"

Soundwave continued talking to Scarab, "I shall go and infect more for your glorious army my liege!"

Soundwave whistled and a Rampardos, Tentacruel and Victreebel ran up, "Come my friends! Let's go infect some more recruits!"

Delora glanced at Taly as his breathing became heavier. She shifted out from under him, making sure he did not wake up, then looked around. She stepped over the sleeping Ninetails and nudged through a bush as quietly as she could. She'd try to find Deoxys and help him to calm down, that was all...she hated him so upset.

Kyuu squirmed a bit in her sleep, her ears and tail flicking as she had a stupid nightmare.
Mewtwo had taken to staring out into the forest, still trying to connect with his clone family.

Sol hissed in frustration. "Yeah." She kneaded the ground, claws ripping it apart. "Just...frustrated. Scared. Angry." She replied.

Dialga took watch over the camp.

Rinny stared at choshun "How do you eat anyway?", the omonyte stopped eating "I eat normally?"

Chomp put a hand on Solara, "Its about Shad isn't it..."

Deoxys looked at Palkia, "I think I'll spend some time here if you don't mind....just need to think..."

Soundwave and his group traveled the forest, infecting all they could find.

Palkia nodded, and quietly made his leave, returning to Mount Coronet.

Solara shrugged half-heartedly. "Shadwyn...I've more or less gotten over her death. Nothing I can do will fix it. But the Dusk...It scares me. How do we fight an enemy like that? They outnumber us horribly, and if we get hurt at all by them, we become one of them. There used to be a few of us. There weren't many Dusk at all. And now there's thousands. We can't face a foe like that."

Dialga stiffened. He could've sworn he had heard something. He put up a Safeguard, just in case.

Delora let out a little sigh as she tilted her head up and sniffed at the air, trying to scent Deoxys and scowling as she had no luck. He must have been farther away. She glanced back at the camp before she shook herself out and took off at a run. She'd find him eventually.

Mewtwo closed his eyes after a moment and stepped back to find a spot to sit. He disliked waiting for the small amount of his family to come to him, it felt wrong.

Soundwave and Co. continued there task until, "Hey look!" yelled Tentacruel as she pointed out Delora.

Soundwave smirked, "Nice find Medusa....that Absol is one of ones the master wants dead.....let's get her!"

The group chased Delora.

Chomp sighed, "I don't know but...we'll find a way!"

Delora blinked as she stopped for a moment in mid-step, glancing over her shoulder and staring. "Awcrap.." She let out a sound that was a lot like an eep before she took off at a run again. "Not again, Arceus not again!" She jumped over a small river, whining.

Scar got up and stretched he was now filled as was the rest of the group "Well we should get going.." scar stated, jaci looked at him "I'm going to give my thanks to that spider for helping from before" she stated

Solara nodded, bitterly. "I suppose."

The Voices only got louder as they neared the Dusk encampment. She could see quite a few already, and she shuddered. Speck told the Voices to shut up, but they only got more vocal, a few of them taunting, "No more, Haunter! We will have you! Kill them all!"
