"All right, c'mon then," she said, leading the way to a large, empty field nearby the town. "I'm your target, show me what you've got!" The death knight cast her weapon aside to keep from hurting the fox, assuming a defensive position.

Swift - Kharanos

Swift took on an alert stance. With a wicked grin, the fox charged the deathknight, before feinting at the last second and hurling a fireball at her feet.

Myriana - Dun Morogh

The hunter had wandered outside of Kharanos, in the direction of Ironforge. She had begun thinking again, about that last fight with that warrior. Damn bitch had almost gotten her. It had been years since Myri had practiced hand to hand combat, and that had cost her the other day. She was definitely loosing her touch. The hunter leaned against one of the stone lantern posts that were on the side of the path between the the town and the city. Maybe Decay or Indi would be willing to practice with her.

Zaruuk - Kharanos

The mage sighed in reply, rubbing his temples with two fingers. She was right, of course. Azu had seemed happy enough. He shouldn't dwell too much on it. Should he?
"Auch'doru, if I got lines from worrying, my face would resemble one of those soft cushion-chair-things that the goblins use." He replied before she left. Deciding breakfast sounded like a good idea, he got up and payed for a hot muffin, some eggs and a couple of rashers of bacon.

Azunara and Kozri
Kharanos

Azunara blinked, confused. "So is he related to Kozri? Sort of?" She asked, looking back at Kozri. He was still awakish, though his eyes were closed. The only sign of actual awakeness was the fact he was tapping his fingers on the chair he was sitting in.

The death knight blew a wall of snow at the fox as he came running for her, giggling slightly as his fireball pinged off her boots. "Okay, I give you that one, you're smarter than I thought," she said to the fox, aiming another wall of snow at him.

Magna shrugged, "Well he has some Bronze in him...maybe"

Swift - Kharanos

The fox shook off the snow from the first wall and wagged his tail. He was ready for the second one though. He sent a wave of fire at the incoming wall, causing an explosion of steam.

Indi grinned, this time whipping up a small tornado of snow around the fox. "Don't let your guard down!"

She had no idea exactly why she was teaching a hunter pet combat skills, but it was fun to play with her new powers nonetheless.

Rosaliah--Kharanos

Rose heard a little bit of commotion and got out of the bed, putting the cloak Faron had given her on, and looked out the window. She boggled as she saw a death knight and a flaming fox dueling a little ways off.

Swift - Kharanos

As soon as the tornado let up, Swift kicked up a cloud of snow, trying to obscure the deathknight's vision. He dashed at her again, attempting to weave between Indi's legs and trip her up.

Myriana - Dun Morogh

Myri went off the road a little ways, still lost in thought. She looked around and seeing that no one else was present, she drew her pole arm and self consciously started on one of the patterns she had learned as a child. She didn't want to look like a complete fool if one of the deathknights decided to help her.

The death knight hit the ground with an "oof." As she climbed to her feet, she praised, "Nicely done!" She made a move to go tackle the fox, testing his reaction timing.

Azunara and Kozri
Kharanos

Azunara blinked, "Huh." She said, studying Arbennig with interest. "Neat!" She added, giving a huge grin. She was looking a lot more cheerful, happy that maybe they weren't so nervous about her after all. She tilted her head at Magna, adding, "You're really nice. I'm glad to meet new people who are nice and not scared of me."

Karzix and Glix - Kharanos

The two goblins, not really having anything else to do, grabbed their cloaks and followed Indi and Swift outside. Glix leaned her forearms against the stone rail just outside and to the right of the door, grinning as she watched the fox and death knight. Karzix stood beside her, hands wrapped around the somewhat warm coffee mug he held in an effort to keep them warm in the chill morning air. "Wondah if that dwarf friend o' yahrs is still around." He let out a chuckle, watching Swift carefully should the fox get some mischievous thought upon seeing him.

Swift - Kharanos

The fox yipped at Indi's praise. He saw Indi make a grab for him and tried to jump out of the way but he was a bit to slow. He gave an undignified bark as the deathknight managed to get a hold of his hind end. He heated himself up just enough to make Indi uncomfortable, but not burn her, hoping she would let him go.

Indi chuckled, combating Swift's heat by reforming the snow into ice around her arms and his legs.

"Hehe Your really nice too!" Magna said with a grin, "Hey wanna see something cool?"

Swift - Kharanos

The fox gave Indi a disgruntled look. He heated his legs up more, causing more steam to rise as the ice around them melted. He gave a quick twist of his body, trying to squirm free of the deathknight's hold.


Myriana - Dun Morogh

Myri stopped what she was doing, feeling stupid and dejected. She had been told often enough that she'd never be good at hand to hand combat. With that, the hunter returned her weapon to it's place at her back, and trudged back to town.

The heat coming off of Swift was beginning to make Indi's gloves uncomfortable and she let the fox go, sending a wave of snow after him as she covered her hands in ice.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

Swift went tail over head as the wave of snow hit him. He poked his head out of the pile of snow, steam raising from his head. He gave the deathknight a cheerful yip, jumped out of the snow pile, and took on a ready stance, waiting for Indi's next move.

Seeing the clouds of steam rising from the direction of the inn, Myri increased her speed. She slowed down once she realized that Swift wasn't getting into any trouble and just playing with Indi. She leaned against the wall of the inn, a smile playing at her lips.

Zaruuk - Kharanos

Zaruuk leaned back in his chair after finishing his meal, wondering exactly what to do now. He didn't particuarly want to sit brooding by a fire all day. Standing up with a roll of his shoulders, he put on his cloak and moved outside. He paised as he saw Indi playfully dueling with Swift. Huh. Not often you saw that. And the fox seemed to be keeping his own too. Shaking his head with a smile, he continued on down along the road. He hoped the cold air would clear his head.
