I'm still kinda new, what's up with those free scrolls we got guys? I don't have anything I want to remove. Are they worth selling or you think the market is flooded?
every single user got those so my guess is that the market is flooded... dragons are as low as 4k for a hatchling and 6k for an adult.... VERY flodded atm
HUGE thanks to Makoes, Syleye, FeralClaw, Pingupuff, Karin,Bowno, Varethyn, Ashaine, Kishay, Aki (Täräin13), my friend Marie and some lovely ppl on Fligth Rising for my lovely sig
Those scrolls are a "gift" to us for the down time, and since most people probably aren't going to use them the market will be flooded with them for a while just like it's totally flooded with dragons. Hatchling prices are down to 3k atm.

I wish I could bring myself to exalt my hatchlings. But then I look at them and think that surely somewhere out there someone would love this baby...and then I can't do it.

I do that too, unfortunately trades are so wonky atm that I cant even trade/sell my babies to people that want them
Yeah, that's the worst of it. People see a baby and they want it, but with the Skydancers coming, lair space completely filled with nestfuls of hatchlings and no new players, who will be buying anything? I think it's time to use the search function to discern how pretty/ugly the babies are, offer them here once more and then just exalt the ones that are hopeless cases.
The sad thing is new user registration was supposed to open back up once they brought the site back online. Continuing to chase new blood away is not going to help the economy any.

Since the site keeps going up and down.. Here's the latest update.
Performance Issues
Xhaztol - August 12, 2013, - 10:20:52
Hello everyone -
We are very sorry for the current performance issues; unfortunately many of the things we're experiencing reared their heads when so many connections began happening at once, so it was more difficult to plan for. However, we have been actively diagnosing the issue since late last night, and will be working non-stop today to address it.
As of now, it is our number one priority, and we will remain dedicated to resolving it. We will try to provide updates as often as possible, as we know it has been disheartening not to hear from us.
UPDATE 1: We are altering some of our backend system settings to hopefully alleviate some issues. While it is not a one-shot fix, we hope that it will improve things temporarily.

Are they seriously trying to make us believe that they couldn't possibly guess or plan for the influx of people returning to the site after being kept away for a week? Really, FR, REALLY?

I don't think it's so much them not knowing it was going to happen as is it's they couldn't really prepare for it because they didn't know exactly what would go wrong until it happened. They had no idea what would fail or cause issues until the flood of people logged in, then they could properly identify the issues and where the server/whatever was going bonkers. You can predict things, such as them knowing there would more than likely be issues, but they honestly have no idea until it happens. That I can understand.
Maybe I'm just too understanding and accepting. I was quite upset about not being able to play for a week, and ontop of that they made some really horrible decisions and to be honest there should have been more communication and updates on things.
Their care package was a joke. I'm sorry, but 20k gold? I realize they don't have to give us a damn thing and it's nice they did... but 20k isn't even enough for the first nest expansion. Which I needed to buy because so many of my dragons are off cooldown and the Boon price doubled when I was able to check last night.
My Pearls gave me a one egg clutch. *Cries*
I was hoping to save up money to gene my Wildclaws before breeding them, but with the week downtime... I'm just going to breed them and hope to make some money with them and hopefully have them gened by next breeding cycle.
The economy is horrible and it's going to be so flooded for a while because of the down time. We need new blood.
