I really don't mind moonkin or resto, altho having the resto's leaves change for the seasons would be very cool. The sea cow has to go... maybe give us dolphins or sharks. Oooo an Orca would be awesome and the taurens could have great whites. Flight form could use a tweaking too. I know Anzu is the Raven God, but I hate looking like a crow, and a sick one at that lol.

And to be honest, I would much rather see the older races themselves updated before the beasts. They do look so outdated compared to the newer blood elves/draenei. I mean, look at their hair! Most of the hairstyles, both male and female, look so...stiff. Bleh. I think the human males probably are in the greatest need of a revamp. I do like the models they're using for Jaina and Kalecgos(?) - the blue dragonflight envoy up at the top of the Wyrmrest Temple.

As a side note on druids, we'll be (most likely) getting a new tree model in Cata, at least according to the blues.

I picked up the barking wolf, but I'm still on the fence. The warm colors are nice, and his bark/random howl is cute, but he still has a snarling face. Blizz, you owe us a fox, a husky, a shepherd, or a realistic looking wolf. Preferably all of the above. Why are the canine selections so limited, anyway? They were the first pets.

At least we might be getting Mastiffs to which I am very excited. I'm with you. I struggle with all the hound models in this game. They all look off in one way or another to me. I had the barking wolf for a while as a present day Marksman. But, I just couldn't quite stand the snarling and what not. To this day I suffer the small DPS loss when I raid from not having a canine companion. My Lynx is well seasoned, and I've always loved him. But having a Mastiff, Husky, fox, shepherd, or a wolf.... would be heaven for me. Lets get some realistic looking puppies with Cata! :3

I agree that the regular old Coyotes should get a happier face. I adore my barking wolf, but he looks so angry, even when he is running about and barking.
Just a wise little smile would be great.

personaly im not in favor of remodeling all the old beasts. giveing em more animations sure, but i do not want to see the beautifull lynxes and lions beeing dumped into the druid models. Some one posted a picture of a red lynx with the NE cat druid model a while ago, so it might happend, and i wont enjoy it i like the feral and sharp look of those lynxes.
I even miss old NE cat forms. Taurens is a big upgrade from the old but imo the NE kitty is way to soft looking. not even its claws look sharp.

... for me, the problem isn't the snarling or the fangs-- after all, this is a fantasy universe, and I mentally accept it by thinking that the snarling is your pet making sure that the universe knows you are theirs, just as they are yours...

no, my problem is that while I LOVE the worg colors, that "I have a poopy diaper on!" waddle they do drives me nuts! Hence why I have tamed the coyote skin in the past-- their walking along with me looks better and less poopy.

I would love my Ironjaw that much more if they got rid of her bottom tusks...they look ridiculous. But I liked her coloring the best, even though she wasn't white like the rest of the stables. Yes, Ironjaw is a he, but now that it's Skatha, it's a she :P

If they touched the normal worg models than that would mean the riding worgs would most likely get changed too and tbh I don't want that to happen- and the fangs give a unique and barbaric look to the wolves imo.

What I wouldn't mind is if they gave the poor things actual idle animations. Hell even northrend Wargs howl, sniff and do more than just stand there looking ugly and pretty at the same time.

Tbh they've only recently added in emotes and actions for Moonkin, and treeform, if I remember right. And there's not much difference between nelf moonkin and tauren moonkin than the owlkin relatives. Coloration and a different horn set don't really match up. And the tree form is the same, if I remember right, for both sides, and looks almost like a treant that moonkin can summon. So while they aren't in major crises to be changed, they need revamps sooner or later.

Again, Flightform has been tweaked. Originally both sides were black, then Tauren got a very bad reskin/recolor for brown. While the base color of the bird is fine, the ears, just my god the ears. Why does it have elf ears and not lil mini horns.

And besides, get epic flight then- you won't look like a crow anymore. Tbh only basic flight does. Epic/Swift looks like a raven.

But then again Raven and Crows are related I think so >_>

I do like the updated druid forms, though. Even the Nelf forms. The old Nelf bear was awful, and the new cat form, in spite of the jewelry, looks much more fierce. The old one looked like a large rat. I like rats, but it's supposed to be a cat.

I only think of a rabid manatee when i use that form. Maybe we can meet in the middle and just get the form tweeked, especially with all the water areas supposedly in the works.
