Agreed with that quoted post, Veph. It's what I've been saying in the TB thread too.

See now that is something I would like to see. Not nerfed to the ground. Varying levels I think would be really cool.

I know you mentioned this before Jessibelle (and maybe one or two others) and I kept forgetting (been a rough - busy week) to reply on it and give my thoughts. But I do rally like this idea of choosing what mode you want to run it in.

For me the part that interested me the most was this.

- The raids we currently have will become outdated content the day Firelands becomes available, the same way Naxx became outdated when Ulduar came out and Trial of the Crusader became outdated when ICC came out. They will no longer even reward you with valor points, and all current valor point gear will switch to being purchasable with justice points (the same points one can get for running normal 85 dungeons). This means that entry-level raiding will be obsolete, and the only people doing it will be people just starting out or a few completists.

This ^ I did not know. They have now clearly pointed out where they are headed... and what their intent is with our current raiding content, "This means that entry-level raiding will be obsolete, and the only people doing it will be people just starting out or a few completists"

I did not realize that upon the realize of 4.2 they were quite happy to "wipe there hands: so to say, of 4.1 raid content, they really expect you NOT to do it unless your starting out or a completist. I don't know if that's a bit sad (imo) or their new model they are designing the game towards, they want people to get through new content fast and not dwell on the old, etc.. (hey it's there game, they can do what ever they like really, lets be honest)

But yeah, that bit was goods to hear/know about their direction and plans with content past and present :)

yeah. That way challenges stay in the game and crap doesnt get nerfed to the ground. Easy Mode can just get some blues. Tier and epics stay in normal and hardcores.

That would be a much better alternative. As things currently stand, they've stripped me of my arena skirmishes, PvP is starting to get a little boring so i'm gearing my tanks for raiding... Oh! but now I get to do the all new, "revamped" BoT for 6-year-olds! How exciting! XD; I guess I could skip those two and just head straight to firelands, by the time the patch comes out i'll probably be more than geared enough for it.

I totally would quit for a while myself, but my subby ends on August 1st.
