Which armour set will you use?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I remember Blizzard saying that you had to be able to equip the item you want the skin from in order for you to use it on something else.

There are shammy sets that don't have the shaman-only tag on them. Those are still open to us.

Outside of tier sets, there aren't very many pieces of gear that are specifically "class only". Perhaps some of the vanilla raid pieces, but the rest are pretty much fair game at this point.

Right, I haven't decided any weapons yet, as this undertaking took me several hours. It was fun though.
Here are my ideas.

Warriors

Wulfhild: I love the shoulders, but hate that the colours don't match. I love the pauldron model however. Needs revision.

Zulmaka: Happy with this one.

Druids

Lorellin: My favourite set with my favourite headpiece. Gloves and shoes subject to change. Belt needs considering.

Izikii: Sorry about the unsightly squares. Bit undecided on this. I like it, but I don't know if it's really "her".

Elgiva: Rogue tier, so not going to happen.

Sunhaze: Happy with this.

Warlock

Echraide: My heart told me to pick this one, as I've loved this tier always. But it doesn't suit Ech, and without the helmet (which I'd not use no matter how cool), it's not really as awesome as it should be. Many lovely Warlock outfits to pick from, so very much subject to change.

Mage

Ashanaa: Just one of many, many outfits and the one that spoke to me today. Subject to change, and also likely the character that will be dishing out the most money for transmogrification on a regular basis.

Hunters

Mozag: Love the outfit, not sure about it on Mozag. Will probably change.

Lazuli: Her RP outfit, yay! Hate the shoulders though.

Lomelinda: Just can't decide whether I love it, or whether it's just dull. Subject to change.

Alburga: Not as nice as my RP outfit (curse you, leather!), but will do.

Dawnsong: I think most of this is Shammy only, so I can dream on.

Garshanga: It'll do for now. Not in love with it.

Salariel: My Veph tribute plus only Belf I can stand looks perfect in this. Juuust perfect.

Lindorindel: Shammy tier, won't be happening.

Eadgyth: In love with this for my half Dark Iron. :>

Priests

Osharaa: Unimaginitive choice, but I want it mainly for the twisted connotations this brings to her RP story.

Soxie: Another obvious choice, but I've been in love with this forever.

Shaman

Mazakeen: Lots of clashy colours here, but I can't have the actual set I want (tier 3), so this will do for now.

Ushamaa: Love it.

Paladins

Ishalaa: I know, everyone wants this, and I don't even know if it's available. But BOY is it perfect.

Ermentrude: I don't like that her hair doesn't display properly in this outfit, but perhaps I'll survive.

Then I am a very happy lady, I didn't have time to do much research, and I know that some stuff for that tier drops in Onyxia's Lair, so I figured whatever dropped there, no longer does. But If I can get the chest piece and shoulders, I'll be happy enough.

First one, that's actually a really nice set, what is it called?

Second one, change the shoulders into something with a little more flash/pizazz and it would be just fine.

Heh, Veph was quicker than me. I'd actually really like that set on Lazuli, but bare arms and pauldrons never work well on Goblins, because they've set the item too far on the shoulders.

And I agree with you about Lome's outfit, it needs cooler shoulders, but the ones that go with this set (rift stalker) are so ugly, and too wide.

I'm definitely also going to change Mozag's, as the more I look at it the more I hate it. And Wulfhild's outfit needs complete reconsidering, since the shoulders appear to have more pixels than the whole rest of the outfit.

I really like the Beaststalker set. Being a beastmaster, it seemed the most hunter-esk for me. That an I souhl be able to solo the dungeons for the gear as well.

The other set I might see about is the Valorous Crypstalker set, from Wrath 25man raid, mostly naxx.

I've a feeling that there will be raid groups for gear runs happening soon, if not alrady.

I think I may use the Warlord's Chain look on my PVP gear, that was my favorite PVP set. I still think I'm likely to go and track down some of these others, though!

And yes, I expect a big rush to go back and do old raids, now -- and higher prices on some better-looking pieces on the AH.

Damn, there are some trampy-looking outfits out there, too ... went through the AH looking at lower level items and the number of mail bikinis and panties and thigh-highs is astounding.
