Also about the spawn timers, personally I've seen re-spawns as low as 4 and 5 hours, but less frequently then the longer re-spawns. The highest gaps I've seen are usually about 9 - 10 hours, pretty random though I start camps 4 hours after Vyra kills just to be safe ^_^.
(Not sure if this is weird) but I like to keep note of all my Vyra kills and TLPD sightings in a word document, including the amount of time they took to re-spawn. It actually does work out to be quite handy, as some times when I'm not fully camping and just doing fly-bys; i choose times from the document and very very often I actually do find another Vyra .
And thanks =), going to be pretty damn bored tonight, I feel a long re-spawn coming haha, so I might have to grab out the paper and pencils. Had never really been into Proto-Drakes much, but recently I've started really loving them, itching to try draw a blue or a green one .
Blue coming up! , one of my favorites too. I had wanted it since i first saw it drop in WotLK and lost the roll. A year of soloing the place in Cata, each day hoping for it; and the one day I'm not thinking about it he drops. Massive squeeeeeee moment! haha .
And btw..*screeeams in fright* Was eagle eyeing over near Brunhilldar Village just now and Skoll set off my NPCscan. Such an innocent little puppy always giving me frights =P. Probably come across about 10+ Skolls during my camps, feels good to re-home them though .

No idea if i missed a spawn during the day today, though I've just caught another Vyra ( 12 and a half hours since my previous kill this afternoon.) Was in the middle of the land of drawing so i was barely even paying attention to the computer, NPCscan soon changed that . Can also finally go do my Darkmoon Dailies!

Vyragosa spawned 4:10pm, was AFK at the time, probably would have exploded if it had of been TLPD haha! She wasn't in range anymore so I flew around looking for her for a minute or two unable to find her, until heading back to my camp spot where she was dead. Guessing she took the waterfall spawn =P. I can't imagine what I would have done if that had been the exact case but with TLPD =P. Anywho 4 hour break here we come ;D!
Hmm rolling restarts tonight, I'm still unsure of whether restarts effect the spawn timers? I don't think they do but a lot of people say it does have an effect. Too confusing with all the different opinions D:, what do you guys think?
I do think rolling restarts do affect spawn timers.
It was either the US or EU realms that didn't get the Sudued Seahorse for a very long time because the resets restarted it's spawn time each time.

Well I just got a spawn 45 minutes before the restart yay , Wasn't TLPD, but at least Vyra.

Haha yeah, no matter how many times I've heard it, no matter where I am or what rare it is, it still scares me and gives me that little excited feeling .
Oh thank god I just logged on! was going to wait a bit but I had a feeling that i needed to be on now . Ended up going on and eagle eyeing over near the waterfall and found a Vyragosa corpse, any later with logging on and it probably would have been skinned or de-spawned; which would have made me camp extra hours for nothing . Also...if that had been a TLPD corpse...Kura=dead .
