Blood Elves are essentially High Elves, with some minor cultural and physical differences. And neither used a hunter class. My whole point is that a Warrior or Rogue class would be more appropriate. Hunters are surprisingly enough NOT just warriors with bows. There's a whole lot more to it. If they give us belf hunters, they might as well give us gnome hunters. Either way, I'm off this topic too, since it just seems people are not understanding my point. You're arguing against something other than what I meant.

(c'mon guys... just let it drop. You are not Leeroy. There is no chicken... deal with it)
I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.

Well, Saturo...

Blood elves are descendants of the High Elves, that much is correct. But that they even changed eye color should tell you that they have changed immensely over time. They are no high elves anymore, even if they look very much alike.

The hunter class originates from the rangers. I hope, we don't have to argue about that. And if we accept that as a fact, then elven hunters, high, blood or night elven, are coming natural, aren't they?

Just to clarify, but my point wasn't that bloodelves shouldn't get hunters, it was that the ranger class is actually very alike the rogue class. My point was that if a rogue with a bow gets made a hunter, why not the gnomish riflemen, who can be classified as warriors with guns.

Anyhow, I'll be making my leave now, since this has just come down to "I love Gnomes!" vs. "i think gnomes r dumb lulz".

Gnomeas don't deserve to be hunters because they are members of the Alliance. End of.

Looking it up I finally found the 'gunmen' part and well it pretty much answers why I think;
The gunman is a knight on the cutting edge of weapons development. He takes the newest technological inventions, and through a combination of innate skill and careful study, pushes them beyond the limits their creators imagined. While some warriors favor the sword or the axe or the bow, the gunman favors guns - pistols, rifles, blunderbusses, he is adept at them all. He is capable of performing amazing stunts with his firearms that leave others staring with wide eyes.

Yes they are good with guns, but their base class is Warrior/Knight, meaning they wore plate. Meaning they weren't hunters, they were still warriors who could do a few tricks with a gun. You've confused the class with http://www.wowwiki.com/Marksman who would be true hunters. That's why there's no gnome Hunters. As well a Gunman can still evidently go into melee combat where as a hunter.. really can not for the most part.

Never said that- sure I dislike gnomes but yeah... tho it is starting to disolve to that.
