Serpents getting them actually makes more sense! That way you still have two families that bring 8% magic damage debuff, and the armor debuff taken from serpents and given to tallstriders. Given that Ziarre has failed to bond with serpent OR raptor, this is cautiously welcome news. *pokes her pink bird-creature*
