hey, can GW2 be downloaded to play? or do you have to buy the box/cd/dvd?

YAAAAAAAAY!!!

my MOSTEST favourite new thing about Mists of Pandaria???????????

You can finally MUTE the damned Launcher!!

no more headache-inducing "BOOOOOOOOOOM" when you start the game!

(there's a little speaker button at the top right of the Launcher window)

so is the "deluxe" edition worth the extra bucks?

a pet is always nice.
is the ring/trinket/whatever-it-is worth it? or is it an item that you'll drop within a few days? (by WoW standards it doesn't sound particularly impressive, but then, GW2 probably doesn't function quite the same way, does it)

I have noooo clue about the extra stuff myself, I just bought the plain game since I doubted I needed the bonus items. It's not a game I'd been invested in at all, so unlike WoW I didn't feel the need to get any special editions or anything.

Sigrah wrote: Of course you did, this is a major patch. Any experienced WoW player knows when Blizzard says 11am, they really mean extended to 1pm, extended to 3pm, servers finally up, servers coming down 10 minutes later for an emergency update, extended to 5pm, extended to 7pm, finally up after 7pm, but still buggy and will require emergency patch Wednesday morning at 3am :)
So far, so accurate :P

Aw, figures, right as we head out, our server is online.

Oh, but it'll probably be unstable, so this is better off that I get a nice meal. :P

Yeah I can't even get anything to load atm. I'm sure they may end up crashing and such a bit before they become stable.

Well, I wasn't finished with the Patch download, but it was playable. I hit "Play" then it got me into my character screen, went to log into my druid and it froze up while trying to get her in. So I waited for a few minutes with no luck so had to Clt-Alt-Delete and close WoW down. Well now when I try to open the launcher back up, I get this. I've been letting it sit and nothing is happening...frustrating! :(

Update: Nevermind. I did a work around the launcher and got in. :)

Am I crazy, or did our mouse sensitivity go up? I keep turning the camera in game only to find I greatly overshoot and I end up all disoriented. I might just be seeing things, but it just seems like the camera is moving way faster.

EDIT: Nevermind, found the reason. I had 'Hardware Cursor' enables in the Advanced settings. Turning it off made it back to normal.
