A nice day for a stroll through Dalaran.
A bug. The game thinks it's the original mob. It even displays the name King Krush, even tough it's probably named something else.Royi wrote:hows it get so big?
I also exist on DeviantArt.

I've seen that happen a few times, but normally it's just big for a second when I first log on, and then it immediately shrinks back down to normal size... I did once see a hunter (with a devilsaur) who had this effect "stuck" in the on position... not sure if it showed that way on his screen (he was alliance so i couldn't ask him), but it was quite an awesome sight.Saturo wrote:A bug. Oh really??Tulune wrote:The best way to get any of the Northrend rares is to hunt for them right after the reset every night (when dailies reset) as it also resets the rarespawns. I have found just about every Northrend rare doing this, tameable or otherwise.
That's a rumor, but it's not true. Rares have a chance of spawning right after a reset, but it's definitely not guaranteed, and even then not every rare spawns all at once. Only a few are up at a time in Northrend (there's been some extensive research on this), so the one you're looking after may not be one.Tilo wrote:Oh really??Tulune wrote:The best way to get any of the Northrend rares is to hunt for them right after the reset every night (when dailies reset) as it also resets the rarespawns. It's certainly worth looking after a reset, just in case, but it doesn't grant much of an advantage really.
I figure this is true, since I've had a hell of a time finding Krush or any of the spirit beasts on the PTR for testing. It just seems like the cycles are at a standstill because no one's killing the existing rares and I can't bring myself to run around the ENTIRE continent killing them....on the friggin' PTR. -_-Royi wrote:From this guys point of view its 3 rares are up at any time:

He's a bit obsessed with the TLPD and i guess has had raiding partys all at the same time combing the entire northrend for Rares to try and figure out more about them in general too

Yep! ALSO, it is good to note that all your armor penetration and intellect on your gear is going to be gone, so you're going to automatically get some more haste (and hit...I'm well over 9% on the PTR now -_-) on your gear thanks to the reitemization of existing gear.Golden wrote:It's also worth noting that Tame Beast has been changed: It now only lasts 10 seconds instead of 20, and it no longer reduces our armor to nothing. So even if you have no haste at all, your tame will still be half as long as it is currently on live, giving Krush (and similar tames) less time to fear or kill you.

9%? I'm at 11% hit and 51% crit! XDKalliope wrote:Yep! Swapping around my gear to full PvE and making sure no crit pet out.Golden wrote:9%? I'm at 11% hit and 51% crit! XDKalliope wrote:Yep! I like that ideaAzunara wrote:Someone should actually say something to Blizz. It's a bit unfair to give us an already hard pet to tame that's a unique skin, rare, and subject to mass griefing....
Then make it even HARDER to tame, make it hit harder, kill our fear immunity, and make it so we NEED help. That really screws over quite a few hunters, and they should at least put in another skin somewhere. What about in Un'goro? Frost trappable green dinosaur named Prince Crush?
SiliverinAnansi wrote:But OJC is just Old Jumper Cliff, a cranky old crazy guy who hops around making grunting noises to scare away children and small animals. Not sure if he's tamable, probably not.
... at the very least, on Moon Guard US... it is not true... from personal testing for the last few nights.Vephriel wrote:That's a rumor, but it's not true. Wow in that case I will never have to learn that crazy abandon/beastial wrath macro type thingy. This will make taming THE BEAST and King Krush much easier if its only 5 seconds.Aquillian wrote:I'm not sure if this helps, but on the PTR Aquillian's haste makes his Tame Beast only last 5 seconds or so. You may be surprised by yours, I know I was. O.o
