People that make fun of Hahadori are kicked from the guild by me. I invite them back a minute later but still, no one messes with Hahadori, hehe.Saturo wrote:*Is disqualified.*Wassa wrote:Probably shouldn't put this here but since this is a hunter forum and we are talking about raiding, my guild is currently looking for another hunter, so if you think you have what it takes to raid H ICC 25 you can put an application at our website at http://instinctwowguild.com. Casual or Hardcore? What is it these days?

A rare visitor to this forum now that I don't play WoW anymore, but forever a Petopian.

I'm not the kind of person who would mock a tallstrider. Loque, sure, but not a tallstrider. I just couldn't stand to have one as a pet. They just don't appeal to me. They look a bit too much like a skinned chicken, and their faces just don't look nice IMO.
Apologies. :P

Lot's of responses! Gah beware of the wall of doom textl!
@Wassa
xD Advertising is allowed, I mean where else should you look for a hunter than in a hunter forum? Veph, Saf and Mania can chew me out if it's inapproriate. With luck you might get a hunter who onlooks the post.
The end of the wall of text. Nice to see so many people are responding to this! It gives a good headsup for people also getting into raiding guilds and that you are not put into a hotseat if you try to apply for a guild. I thought I was going to get questioned once.
No, no I meant a more along the lines of tight schedules and so on and everything is well organized. But you cleared it up. (Hence why I only chose this line from your words, please people do read the original post if confused)Zeilla8 wrote:I dissagree with you with why you think I call it militaristic.
Everybody is allowed to have their opinion. Personally if I played all day long it gets boring to me! Otherwise I would be slacking out school.karina wrote:
I don't think there is such a thing as "Hardcore" anymore unless your a "no lifer" as in you do nothing but play World of Warcraft all day and all night. That is my idea of what Hardcore is. The rest are casuals to me who enjoy other things in life, yeah we all enjoy a game and sometimes we have those days where we do just sit on World of Warcraft all day :p
(Sorry if I went on to much)

Re: Casual or Hardcore? What is it these days?
Yeah. I'm neither and both.
I'm casual enough to want a lax raiding schedule (2 nights a week maybe), but I'm hardcore enough to want to put my all into making my character bounce pretty on those two nights, balls to the walls. If I give 210% of my characters worth and we die all night, I still did my part.
I'm casual enough to want to have a life outside of wow, but hardcore enough to want to maximize gameplay during the time I do give this game. I want my guild to WANT to keel the bosses, take all their goodies and win the day. It shouldn't take 15 wipes on northrend beast fight 1. I did that back in the day and it was expected. Nowadays, too many wipes means ur doin it wrong and ned 2 l2p, nub!
I remember first being confronted with the idea of boss tactics and resistances in taking down Raganros. The first time we got him was soooo satisfying. I remember nights back in classic with Razorgore and vael, running back yet again because we all got severely pwnt in our badass MC gear. I remember our guild having the hardest time getting past the twin emps of AQ40. I must have watched curse (or was it nifflehiem) guild pwn him to flashy techno music a hundred times before we finally got the strategy down as a guild and tore a hole in them. I remember Kara being the first 10 man I really enjoyed and wondering how our little guild of friends was ever going to get enough people to do Gruul. Nilla made more sense raidwise as raiding guilds were pretty big to begin with (had to be to find 40 people online at once). TBC lacked much of a "flow". 10 people could only go so far. Even then, people with kara gear trying to run ZA was much fail. Like many others, I enjoyed PVPing the crap out of the last year of TBC.
Wrath finally got the flow problem worked out. In fact, the pipes moved a little too well. People flowed through the content, got the gear they needed to progress and ran out of easy content. Even I really felt like the hard content wasn't "for me". It was for the elite and extreme hardcore raiders. Personally, I was happy with a complete tier/epic set and the ability to knock over any normal boss. Once I hit that, I'm pretty good. There's not much else in game to do at that point unless I want to pvp. If Bliz wants to make this their model, they really need to put some more 'adaptable' content in the game for people once they beat enough bosses. That, or more asthetic stuff they can afford doing dailies. I would think housing would play a big part here, but apparently, they can't legitimize housing just yet. /shakes head in disapproval...

I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.
