No Worgen Mount?

I love the idea for Worgen, but honestly am a little miffed since they decided it was too "OP" for Tauren, but now is just fine for Worgen?

I loved Plain-striding and I had planned to make my first "official" character a Tauren until I heard they removed that...

It wasn't OP. It was the fact they screwed up on it. Personally, long as they keep the kodos, I'd love to see that come back.

well Taluwen so am I but agian as people have said if this does go live then i'm sure some of the other races will get some new mounts. Remmber just cos its in the concept art does not mean it will be in game so don't worry.

Someone here had done the math and found out the Alliance does indeed currently have access to two more mounts then the Horde does.

Or at least, you can read their discussion and try the math yourself.

There had better be the same amount of lag between everyone else mounting and in the Worgen ability to use their racial ability "Running Wild" or this will be extremely OP in PVP.

Only two things make me sad about it..

1) That awesome concept art for the Worgen mount won't be seen in game.
2) It's doubtful that Worgen hunter pets will run along side them.

Of course the win is, no rep grinds for land mounts...

It's exactly like mounting. You can't use Running Wild in situations where you can't mount (aka In combat and whatnot).

It's basically a mount spell, with no ridable mount.

Yeah, I was interested in the worgen when I heard about this but after some careful consideration.. I think I'm gonna go goblin.

Blizzard wouldn't make mount numbers uneven again when they had originally evened them out a long time ago. Don't complain until you know all the facts, beta is beta.

I'm sure we'll see a few extra alliance mount colors scattered around in some way.

The important thing is that we all get shinies! I can just hear alliance players complaining that horde get trikes and we get more <cats/horses/rams/chickens/elephants>, but in the end, as long as the numbers are even, I think everyone will be satisfied "enough." I mean hell, there are going to be enough other awesome mounts in the game (lions/scorpids/phoenixes/bugs/etc.) to drool over without worrying about the racial mounts.

Look im not going to lie, Im glad everyone is happy running on all fours but im not. Id like to have a mount. However it doesnt have to be a NEW mount. Im not saying they should start out exalted with a faction, but I think that the night elves could make an exception about selling their tigers to the worgen. Or even human could sell horses. Like I said they wont be exalted but they should still give the option. Hell even druids with travel form, and palis with warhorses have this option. I just dont like that they will make it like
"Hey want to ride something? Grind rep like everyone else"

I'm considering rolling a Worgen BECAUSE they don't have to ride a mount. I don't know if you've noticed, but NO race looks good on a mount! Have you seen nelves on anything but a saber, or belves overall? Hell, I'll just go and say Gnomes on anything that isn't robotic.

Mount animations are awful. Worgen getting the boost without having to ride something seems awesome to me.
