As a note, there are some incoming parrot models coming into Cata that look like Aotona but in various color schemes. So I hope your not taming purely on looks.

It took me a full year of circling the basin to finally see Aotona pop. Funny part is I had my ipod on random and Bjorks song Hunter had just came on, I almost didnt notice my npcscan go off cause her icon is so small when it came up. Tamed and went to dinner with my husband, lol. Be patient you will find her, that circle i did that day was just a random one. Its always the ones where you go, "eh ill go check real quick," and your thinking that it wont be there, and you actually find them. Atleast thats how it always happens to me.
