as alliance I like the spectral steed better than sparkle pony. but yeah, I'd definitely prefer the spectral wolf.

the one that eluded me during wrath was the blue drake on my alliance hunter. I've got him on an orc dk and an orc shaman.

At 93 now! Finally got he Red Proto last night and I also nailed the Fossilized Raptor!

I think I'm going to do the (albeit a waste of money possibly) Drop my Mining skill, powerlevel up Tailoring to get those 3 magic carpets.

Just would need to get to 425 in skill, i'll debate about that pending how expensive cloth is on the AH.

I have about 5000g I would put to that as well. Anyone know about how much a powerlevel like that would cost?

probably a lot.

I got 99 when I picked up the grand ice mammoth from sons of hodir. 100 is going to likely be another tournament mount unless I get lucky and get the egg drake first.

ugh yeah tailoring is out of the question. I dont know why Wool Cloth would sell for 60g a stack and Linen Cloth for 20g a stack

Seems a bit... inflated....

Dont have the time to grind up all that cloth for mounts i'll never use. Think I'll go grind up CE rep for that Hippogrpyh

yeah I'm thinking tourney mounts is the way to go...with getting 14 a day via the 9 dailies and 4 gold bags doesn't take nearly as long to get to 100 seals anymore.

And as I say that, my 100th mount is.........the Winterspring Frostsaber. I ended up grinding the last 7500 rep tonight by repeating the quests with little to no competition.

Thats a very pretty mount. Just wishing for it to come to Horde-side too :)

Last night I got the Red Bug from AQ40. It was actually really easy I just grinded it myself, you just need another friend to make a Raid with.

Ran in, cleared the trash in the front up to the first boss (11 mobs total), ran out, hit "Reset All Instances", ran back in (repeat)

Its about 1-2% chance of dropping from them, so in theory it should take around 10 resets to get the Red one to drop (you'll easily get the Green, Blue, and Yellow within 1 or 2 trash clears. It only took me 4 or 5 clears to get the Red one to drop for me :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I'm on the home stretch. Perhaps if I can convince my guild to run OS10 with me to help me get the mount it'll be even quicker :)
Should have CE rep done within a week, should have Spectral wolf within a week, same with the 2 camels from Ramkahan, and I'm sure i'll have 2000 honor by the end of the week as well. (puts me just 1 short). I have a 2 seater Rocket coming to me eventually, I just don't know when my RAF will get back into wow for another month.
the two horde mounts I would absolutely want on an alliance toon would be the Frostwolf, and the Spectral Wolf.
My Wintersaber makes me wish we still had the good old days when pets could run beside you as you were on a ground mount. On my orc hunter I would have a black worg next to my black wolf, and now I'd love to have my pride watcher Sasha next to my mount.
I remember a few times on my lowbie Rogue (when i played on a PVP server) getting ganked by hunter's pets whilst they just sat there enjoying the view from their mounts
yeah....in the pre-normalized attack speed days. I was a terror on a pvp server with King B and Broken Tooth.
Heh I was just browsing a couple other Mount threads on wowhead, curious about if it would be worth it to level tailoring up just for those carpet mounts and Look who posted this one:
Thought it was funny about coming across her thread :)
I hit 100 mounts last night!
Early in the morning, I finally open the Hydnir Spoils bag to recieve the White Polar Bear mount (#97). After 150~ or so tries i've never been happier to recieve that mount. I guess it was RNG payback, since I recieved the Mount within about 20-25 tries on my old DK, about 15 tries on my old shaman, and on my paladin I got it on the 3rd day (i have 4 chars with it now).
Last night with 3 other guildies we thought "hey we should try OS10 3d!" We went there and ended up wiping each time with around 200k left. I think we wiped 3 or 4 times, found a random lvl 81 shaman healer, still didnt work, picked up a 85 shaman that was nearby and we were able to get him down (with a wipe at the end, but we won regardless :) ).
I asked if anyone objected to me taking the mount, and I offered a 2500g to whomever has the highest roll, everyone was ok with that, so I looted the Black Drake mount to myself (#98) and then had people do a roll for 2500g. I figured that was fair since everyone agreed to it.
I then jumped into a heroic run to get the last 500 or so rep for Ramkahen done with and then got both my camels afterwards (#99 and #100). Hooray! :)
ROFL
I choked with laughter reading the title. CONGRATULATIONS ON HAVING TIGERS BLOOD AND ADONIS DNA! I've actually been using Sheen quotes in my raids too for when we tackle on new bosses.
Seriously though, grats!
thanks, im still a bit indifferent about the Red Dragonhawk though. Its pretty but just doesnt seem "right". Meh I cycle through mounts pretty quick anyways.
At least the drive is over. I feel relieved and happy that I can play on my other characters now.
