Cow- if you click on the dragon's name in the "Offspring" box on the page of the parent dragon, you'll be able to see the offspring in whatever lair it went to. If it's exalted, it shows up on a pedestal.

I really, really need to make more room in my lair.

I'd sell some dragons, but I'd hate to see them be exalted by someone else; ice flight is currently going batty with exaltations-- hence the rise to 8k in hatchling prices. Would-... Exalt them myself, but they have so much potential. Ahhhhh so torn!

So, person who has one of my progen's grandchildren that I'm trying to inquire about hasn't responded to my polite and very generous PM and has been online, they ended up naming him, so instead of doing a patient wait before PMing again, I sent another one since I know they're active, and this time I've given even MORE generous offers that is like, three times more than what he's worth on the market.

Offers I've given before and have given now:
Choice of WC from tomorrows breeding
2k gems and choice of offspring from the PC's when they can breed (which will make pretty much a replica of the PC she owns, just one gen longer)
Choice of offspring from WC breeding and 2k gems
Choice of offspring from WC breeding, 2k gems, and choice of offspring from the PC's when they can breed

so long before the downtime, I negotiated a spiral purchase from another user for 150k.

Now, the average price for a spiral is much lower and I could get one for considerably less (though the baby is white/leaf which is nice)... but she won't negotiate and still wants 150k. (I also got 'lol'ed' at when I asked what the price was since it was pre-crash/downtime and my email to her didn't say. The 'lol' was because I thought it was 120k.)

So she's basically laughing at me because I thought the dragon was more reasonable, and this ruffles my jimmies.

Should I just call it off and buy a cheaper one? I really don't want to burn thousands of treasure when the market is lower...

Nach, I ran into this, though the stakes were nowhere near that high. I could have bought 2 for the price I paid for the one (and I saw 2 on the ah that looked like it), my feeling was that I had agreed upon a sum, and so i paid it. My word was my bond. Your mileage may vary, though. You're free to walk away, naturally.

I'd call it off, Nachtwulf. She's being selfish. You can get dragons for much cheaper at the moment and they might even be better dragons.

I'd at least peruse the market first to see if you find colors you'd like better. I really don't like people who sneer and be all snarky. To me, their attitude says to me that they aren't worth dealing with and should in all honesty miss out on not just fair and generous offers but offers in general.

Unless you're in the same kinda boat I'm in right now where its absolutely perfect in various different ways. Then it's one of those grudging negotiations that you do and don't want to get go of. Honestly if search worked, I'd go and find a different Pearlie than fuss with like 400k of dragons and gems with this person I'm trying to convince to sell theirs.

I think I'd be less bent about it if she hadn't 'lol'ed at me. It just felt insulting. HA HA I GOT YOU FOR SHIT TONS OF MONEY.

I don't have 150k anyway. I may just buy a cheaper one and tell her I'm still trying to get the money.

And yeah, she's pretty but she isn't gened and is 'out of theme' for my lair. I just like white/leaf as a combo.

It's okay! I'm just frustrated bc neither of my pretty spirals sold (though I'm very glad my best friend loves the male and will be getting pretty babies out of him) when I expected them to go pretty quickly. I know everyone is saving up for skydancers, but still.
