Well now you're just being silly.... everyone knows there are no girl-nerds and that girls don't play WoW.

The detail is amazing; bones, musculature, eyelashes etc. I'm glad and relieved that she actually looks like a real human. They way they have handled the races so far has given me faith for the rest; they really seem to be maintaining the 'spirit' of the characters while improving them. The article on the battle.net website is an interesting read too.

For a gay male, who has no clue about these bra thingamajigs, either from first- or second-hand experience, I still found it obvious that they're paying a lot of attention to bras on the new models. They seem to have made them look way more substantial and supporting, and not just a light rag or bikini.

I really love the new human female. Funny, the second I saw the images I thought of Veph, because although the hairstyles aren't exact, I could see that it would be very easy to make a human version of Veph with that new art.

(And no, I'm not that creepy stalker! If I was going to make a model look-alike in the game, it would probably be of Matt Damon ;) )

We need a "Thumbs up" button for posts. Sarcastic humor about the gender myths in WoW make me grin like a loon.

Back on topic, agreed, Wain! I'm glad the bras are getting more realistic. I know it's a little detail and you're supposed to wear armor and all that, but with how big the breasts are on some characters... A little scrap of flimsy fabric isn't going to cut it.

Plus realistic bras are way more badass. The weird bikinis are so fake they're not even appealing.

Lmao Wain!

That's definitely the Veph hairstyle though, since it was originally from the human female, so I'm assuming that's exactly what her hair will look like after the blood elf remodel. :D

Yeah, the bra issue is rather cringing when the characters are in plate armor that is magically vacuum sealed to their breasts. Poor female dwarves, especially. The old one definitely was more of a bikini top, it had no support and just looked uncomfortable as hell in my opinion.

I guess it depends on how much you like the current model for them. But even if you don't, it's a fair since it's a look they could very easily stuff up. Personally, I find female tauren to be a bit like female worgen, in that I feel like they achieved a kind of gangly, awkward teenage look, rather than a strong female. I almost expect to see braces on their teeth. So personally I'd prefer to see a complete model re-think with them, but I don't think that's going to happen as they don't want to destroy any existing styles. I also understand that it's very personal and a lot of people still like the current looks.

My main concern with the tauren was that the male preview we saw looked a bit too cartoony (just in my opinion though!), I'm eager to see the females, I think they have great potential, hopefully they pull them off well. :) I'd also love if we could get grimtotem tattoos at some point.

I REALLY want them to fix female tauren. I love tauren but their models are so blocky and terrible... the females especially move as though their hooves are welded onto their shanks like they're wearing giant platform shoes that block ankle movement. And I don't even want to talk about their featureless muppet mouths.

I will totally 100% take 'slightly cartoony' if they fix the mobility problems. I really suspect that the badness of the rigging on the female tauren goes back to the same reason the troll females are rigged so terribly... they were last minute changes (again, of Blizzard catering to the whiny 'not sexy enough' teenage kid crowd) and they completely redid the models right before launch without the development time really needed. Now, I'm not saying the old female tauren wasn't kind of... uh. Well, she was pretty dumpy, I have to admit. BUT. Changing your boat completely in midstream doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room to tweak things until they aren't foogly.

I really liked the alpha female troll. Trolls are TROLLS. They aren't supposed to be humanish and sexy.

To be honest, as someone with a solid foundation in anatomy and biology, a lot of the extreme sexual-dimorphism in WoW has always bugged me. Why are the legs and tails on draenei UTTERLY different? Why are male trolls troll-looking and girl trolls look like humans in clown feet and body paint?

Sure, in nature males are different than females, but the most you see is a slight (well, slight compared to orcs/tauren/draenei/etc) difference in size or a difference in coloration. How freakish would it be if everything were like deep sea anglerfish...

I loved the alpha troll ladies too! I really wish I'd had a chance to play them at the time.

This reveal was kind of boring cause I don't have any human chars I need a female Tauren reveal cause that's my main char right now and also my oldest char so I'd like to see what they come up with for her and hope they don't ruin her for me...

The rest of the older reveals were more fun to look at which perhaps means that to me this one looks like its missing something.

l'm with you Nacht on the sexual dimorphism thing... I love male draenei but females are way too thin to me. I also liked the older trolls too. Females don't need to all have similar silhouettes!

I'd be totally okay with weird amounts of sexual dimorphism if it wasn't so clearly done to make the males beefcakes and the females sexy. A little sick of seeing every female character have the same silhouette! That said, we're not going to see entire body type changes, be that good or bad. I'm just going to look forward to seeing what they can do with what they have.

Those are the silhouettes people see when they think of WoWs races. It would be very silly to change them now! Way too risky!

Still I hope The female tauren don't look way different to what we have. That would make me a sad cow.

I'm not a fan of the alpha troll females, our current models for trolls are wayyy better (in my opinion). Maybe it's just me, but I'd like them to look savage but not having to be hideous as well. To me, I think the High Priestess Mar'li fits that and I'm hoping my trolls come out similar to her. I wouldn't mind the option to let other people play the alpha variety, but if they were all switched to it -sigh-

And I'm eager for the tauren females too. I have a priest I'd love to finish leveling, but she's on the wrong server. -eyes Blizzard- The right model and I'll be paying to drag her over. haha!

Wow... polygons... textures... polygons... wrists and knees... polygons... musculature... polygons... did I mention polygons? Polygons, polygons everywhere! :D

And I absolutely adore her face, it's so cute :3 Can't wait to see how other faces (and races) will turn out.
