"I would not be surprised if it does." The draenei remarked. He tried to think back to the times he fought against the Legion, the few times he'd fought Eredar warlocks. But he'd been more focused on keeping alive than studying how they casted their spells.
"As much as I loathe to admit it, I am starting to think you have the right idea about trying to find a warlock. It's probably the most direct way to get answers."

"Well, if you want direct answers, than Saturo definitely isn't the person to talk to, unless you don't mind being overwhelmed by zombies or owing her a life debt. If you would like, we can put it off for today and go have a chat with a warlock another time." She didn't want to stress or overwhelm Zaruuk more than was necessary.

"I was mostly joking about Saturo anyway." He said with a chuckle. "Setting it for another day sounds fine to me. I don't suppose you mind keeping all this a secret between us, do you?"

Myri put the gem away, and stood up to stretch. She was beginning to wonder where everyone went to.

As Rose walked through the common room of the inn, she accidentally bumped into Myri as the draenei was stretching. "Fel!" Rose cursed, looking up from under her hood to see that she had bumped into one of the adventurers. Double fel. "Sorry," she mumbled.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

"Sor-" Myri cut her apology off and narrowed her eyes as she inspected the person who she had inadvertently flung her arm into as she stretched. She hadn't seen the sporebat before, but she certainly recognized the wolf. It was that hunter she had fought back during one of the failed attempts to rescue Azu and more recently the one to rescue Decay. That's right, Indi had mentioned that the wolf had changed sides again so that Willowe could heal his little elf hunter. "So you are up and about again, are you?" Myri replied to the other hunter, completely ignoring Rose's apology.

Swift jumped down from Glix's lap, ready to defend Myri if he had too. He remembered Karma all too well.

Rosaliah--Kharanos

Rose blushed furiously, not really sure how to respond to Myri. "I...er...yeah..." she answered nervously, holding her hands up in the air to show that she was unarmed.

Serenity plopped herself on Rose's head over the hood and gave Myri an inquisitive look. Karma, sensing that her mistress bode no ill will against these people anymore, entered a submissive pose to Swift, whining an apology.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

Well that certainly wasn't the response Myri was expecting. And why was she un-armed? Especially in an Alliance town? Just because she was part of Glix's imaginary guard didn't make it safe to walk around unarmed. This hunter must have gotten a concussive shot to the head one too many times. Myri sighed, noting the submissive post of the wolf. Well apparently they weren't going to try and kill her at this moment. She inspected the other hunter again. She definitely wasn't in any shape for combat anyway. She looked quite pathetic actually. The draenei sighed again, thinking she must be a sucker. But Willowe had driven herself to exhaustion to heal the elf, and Myri wasn't going to undo the worgen's handy work. "Have you had anything decent to eat today?" she asked the new hunter.

Swift relaxed at Karma's pose, sitting beside his hunter and staring up at Rose's sporebat hat, entralled. He remembered it from the last fight, but now that he had a better chance to inspect it, he was fascinated. Myri looked down from the fox and followed his gaze to Serenity. She had to laugh at that. "It's a sporebat, Swift."

Rosaliah, Karma, and Serenity--Kharanos

Serenity looked down at the little fox and moved from Rose's head to Swift's head.

Rose was getting ready to say something to defend herself when Myri asked her if she needed food. She looked up at the other hunter, confusion written on her face. Her stomach betrayed her by letting out an audible growl, causing Rose to blush furiously.

Karma sat down at Rose's side, mouth open and tongue lolling to the side.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

"I will take that as a no. If you have been healed you need to eat. Let's get you something decent. I bet they serve breakfast at all hours here." Myri figured if she was nice to the elf now, maybe Rose would think twice about killing her later if she went back to the cultists. She motioned to the elf to follow her. "I am Myriana by the way."

She couldn't help but let out a snort as the sporebat completely enveloped Swift. She couldn't see the fox anymore, but she could certainly feel his shock and surprise. It wasn't often Swift was caught by surprise.

Rosaliah, Serenity, and Karma--Kharanos

Her lack of confidence was totally uninspiring for her little self-insight she had had outside. With a sigh, she did as the draenei bade--she was outnumbered here so it would be useless to argue. "I am Rose," she replied simply.

Serenity wrapped her little wing flaps around Swift in a giant hug, humming happily. Karma yipped playfully at them.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

Swift would have been perfectly still, except that Serenity's humming was causing his whole body to vibrate. Finally the fox tried to shake the sporebat off, so he could investigate her more. He looked at Karma as if asking "Does she do this on a regular basis?"

Myri just nodded and lead Rose over to where Glix and Karzix were. There was plenty of room at the table. She summoned a barmaid and ordered a hearty breakfast for the elf, figuring she'd find a way to get Faron to pay her back. If push came to shove, she'd send Swift, Tirrae, AND Karzix after the wolf.

Karma nodded sagely at Swift while Serenity looked disappointed that Swift didn't like her hugs.

Rose pulled a couple of gold pieces out of her belt pouch and pushed them across the table at Myri before tucking away into the food ordered, hiding behind the hood of her cloak as much as possible.

Swift saw Serenity's disappointment and had a rare moment of regret. He hopped onto his hind legs and gave the sporebat a lick, trying to make up for hurting her feelings. He gave a yip at Karma then trotted back over to the table Myri and Rose were at. The fox looked around shiftly, then reached up to try and take a slice of bacon from the elf's plate.

Myri rolled her eyes. "Swift, it is not polite to steal." The draenei quickly ordered up several more plates of food, one each for the fox, Tirrae, and Rose's two pets. "I will use your coin for your pets' meals, but really, you do not owe me for yours. If anything, I think your lightning wolf friend can pay for it. You have been through enough already."

"Faron does not need to pay for me," Rose muttered, continuing to scarf down food.

Serenity and Karma followed Swift, both pets excited that Myri was getting them food.

Karzix and Glix - Kharanos

The two goblins watched Rose quietly. Karzix looked slightly apprehensive, frowning suspiciously at how the elf was hiding behind her hood. Glix, meanwhile, was more curious than anything. She busied herself with studying the newcomer before looking at her pets. She let out a snicker at the sight of Serenity enveloping poor Swift, humming thoughtfully at the alien-like appearance of the sporebat. And she had thought that the creatures on the Lost Isles looked strange! Myri had called it a 'sporebat', so it apparently was a species of some sort. She tilted her head, trying to figure out if it was an animal or some kind of intelligent fungus... thing.

Myriana raised an eyebrow as Rose and shrugged. "If you say so. Personally I think that wolf owes a lot, but that is just my opinion." The hunter didn't say another word, letting Rose eat in peace.

She turned to Glix, smiling at her inspection of the sporebat. "I must confess, I don't ever recall seeing a sporebat until I made a brief trip to Outlands a few years ago. They are interesting animals, though I have never tamed one for myself. " Myri frowned as she thought. "I really don't know much else about them though. That is shameful of me." Myri made a mental to note to pick Zaruuk's brain about the creatures of Outlands when he had the time.

Rose grew increasingly self-conscious as she peeked out from hunter her hood and saw the two goblins staring at her. Help me Faron! she thought to herself despite the fact that the wolf couldn't hear her. She didn't bother responding to Myri--she had no real explanation about Faron's actions anyway, not any that would be what the hunter would want to hear anyway.

After eating, Serenity looked around for a head to sit on and settled on Karzix's. Karma curled up in a little ball at Rose's feet.

Rose perked up a little at the mention of sporebats. "Jraak calls them Zankri. He says that they're fungus and that their name means Zangar Hood," she offered quietly before falling silent again.
