Looks like I won't be playing Pokemon for a while. Some lowlife scumbag broke into my truck last night while I was at a friends, and stole ALL of my Pokemon games, as well as my 1st generation DS, AND all my very valuable Yu-Gi-Oh cards, some of which are 20 dollars or more. Even more, my friends house is right down the street from a local elementary school. I'm so pissed at this douche, who legitimately breaks into a car and steals a bunch of DS games this close to an elementary school?

Oh my god that's horrible. :/ What a piece of dirt. I really hope something can be done about that, I know they're just games but so much time and effort can be invested into those...

I'm still upset, but I've settled a good deal since yesterday. I'm honestly more upset that someone would steal that type of stuff so close to an elementary school. Those very easily could have been the games for some random child, who would wake in the morning to pure heartbreak.

Decided to do the demo download for the newest Mystery Dungeon: Gates to infinity, Must says its actually pretty fun so far. Great thing is, if I decide to get the full game I can use my demo's saved data for it so I don't have to restart it unless I want to. Decided to go with Axew for myself, and oshawott for my partner, was a tough decision since I really like Samurott and Haxorus.
That Quaggsire though...I don't know if I can trust him...there's something about him that's off...

Yes Mewtwo is one of my fave Legendary Pokemon aswell. Before their designs started looking silly to me. I like the movies he has been in so I hope to like this one. I have not liked any of the newer ones that much. The last one I saw I think it was the latest one I thought was really bad so I hope this one is good!

My friend's reaction exactly when I showed her the trailer after saying, "Oh yeah, there's a new Pokemon film. Looks decent I guess." xD
I don't think it looks anything special but I can't base anything on a trailer that wasn't even in English.
I dunno, I liked the Mewtwo films but he's not my favourite, so his return didn't do much for me. Could still be good though!

So most of you know I've been hunting a shiny Vulpix for weeks now, almost every night.
Last week my friend asked if I could grab her two Vulpix, a male and a female. Did so, traded them to her, that was all.
... She just announced on Facebook she was breeding them for the stats and got a shiny on the 20th egg.

Admittingly tho, I don't do much breeding and never had much of a reason to. I can usually get the nature I want just fine and I never have anyone to trade with anyways lol. When I had 2 DS/gameboys, I just traded with myself *Forever Alone.jpg* LOL

Neither have I! I've been playing Pokemon games since I was 10 (almost 21 now) and I've yet to see a shiny! Red Gyarados doesn't count.

I've seen myself a couple. A shiny rapidash my friend gave me, a freaking shiny Tanglea I the blasted Safrai zone, a shiny graveler, and a shiny Basculin.

Hahahaha! I don't remember how old I was when I started, but it was when they first came out, and I'm 26 now. Been thru so many of the games and never seen a shiny...of course, I always have the awesome luck with rare spawns *sarcasm* I also never had many of the legendaries that required events and whatnot lol. Oh well, my fav pokemon is Zekrom. Dunno why, but I just fell in love with him the moment I saw him. Even got a big ol' plush of him above my bed.

My first, and only shiny I've ever encountered was a shiny Quilava in Colloseum, but the stats are rerolled after 'stealing' a shadow pokemon, and thus it became non-shiny. It was very disheartening. Haha

I had no idea you could get shinies in Colosseum, I went and looked it up.
... That's like the most pointless system ever. Why make shinies if they're gunna revert back to normal after you catch them? o.O

It wasn't their intention to have shinies as a huge part of Colloseum. Another reason is the way shinies are made, based on some stat it is naturally found with. When you catch a shadow pokemon, all of it's stats are rerolled, also rerolling whether it's shiny or not. Basically, if you see it shiny, it probably won't become shiny again after catching. You can, however, catch a non-shiny and it can become shiny upon catching it. It's a very odd system.
