The mage frowned. Either the elf was now ignoring him or he didn't want to answer his question. And he really wanted this question answered, even if only for Decay's sake. He looked to Myri as her question was answered. Well, that sorted that mystery then.
"I shall ask again," He spoke up, sounding sick and tired of this conversation. "How does one drain another of their elemental infusion? Will the person explode if this is done?"
Silently, Zaruuk went over tis puzzle himself. Considering what they'd learned so far, assuming he was, indeed, telling the truth, it seemed most likely that they'd need another sort of ritual to syphon the energy out. That... could prove bothersome if it were the case. The mage crossed his arms and waited to see if Talon would answer him this time.

Talonaris, Kharanos

Talon briefly glared at the mage. "A ritual. It's quite difficult to do. It could easily end with you losing the energy to breathe. And no, they would not explode," he added with a sneer. "They only explode when you kill them."

Zaruuk - Kharanos

Zaruuk felt more than a little tempted to give into his desires and drain the blood elf's soul here and now. Surely they'd forgive him his use of fel powers if it was to rid Azeroth of this cocky little smear. Still, he was both glad and disheartened to hear that his assumption had been correct. Well, guess he had a pet project to work on.
He couldn't think of any more questions to ask Talon. He looked around to the others, seeing if they had any ideas.

Karzix and Glix - Kharanos

"Right. Say we manage to pull off this mysterious ritual. If you drain something of its infusion, where does the energy go?" Glix piped up, crossing her arms and briefly wondering what smart-aleck jabs she would receive for daring to speak up. "Does it need to be channeled into something, or can it just be... set free, I suppose?"

Karzix gave the World Destroyer a quick glance when he heard it let out a small huff. He returned his attention back to Talon, flicking his eyes back and forth between the elf and his cat. He drummed his fingers on his arm, trying not to stew on Talon's high and mighty attitude. He cast Zaruuk a pained look when the draenei glanced over their way.

Indigosa--Kharanos

Indi hissed through Decay's wind, noting that it was much more biting than anything she had been able to create thus far. Still, she tried to push through it, raising Bloodletter up to try and bring it down in a devastating blow ((Obliterate)).

Rosaliah and Willowe--Kharanos

Rose and Willowe had both been watching the exchange silently, Willowe still in the shadows.

Rose's eyes had narrowed as she listened to Talon, a sneer of disgust creeping across her face. "If I had my gun I would be half tempted to shoot this cocky sun of a bitch right now," she muttered to Faron.

((Just for the record, Decay already suggested they kill him and raise him as a ghoul to get reliable information.))
Decay - Kharanos

Decay ducked down, and blasted Indi back with another wind, this one from behind to try and make the other death knight lose her balance.

((Rose is just suggesting to Faron that she wants to kill him for being a douche--she couldn't care less about the info he has. ))

Indigosa--Kharanos

The death knight cursed as she tumbled forward, the momentum from the swing of her weapon and Decay's blast of wind knocking her off balance. She rolled across the ground, coming back up on her feet. As Indi turned back to face Decay, she sent a wave of snow at the other death knight, following it up with another crushing swing.

Decay - Kharanos

Decay jumped around just in time to get slashed over her hands with the blow, deflecting a little bit of it through her blades. She retaliated with a quicker, lighter version of the same spell.

Indigosa--Kharanos

Indi tried to jump back, again too slow and taking the hit along her midriff. Growing frustrated, she began swinging at Decay with long, sweeping strikes, growling out, "Why can't I fight you?"

Somewhere in the back of her mind, a voice whispered, You're weak.

Decay - Kharanos

Decay ducked back into a defensive crouch to try and deflect the blows. Indi had longer range with the axe, and could put more strength into her moves as well.

Indigosa--Kharanos

"Now you're not fighting?" Indi wasn't sure why she asked the question. For some reason her mind was clouding over and she felt as if she was confusing herself. Why was she fighting so terribly?

Grunting, she continued to lash out at Decay, whipping up a tornado of snow around herself, and sending it toward the other death knight and the inn behind her.

Talonaris and Faron, Kharanos

Faron grinned wryly at Rose. "That's a shared sentiment. I would repeat the rather lengthy description of him that a cultist I spoke to had, but I don't particularly want to corrupt you." He paused to give Rose a knowing look. "And that's knowing that you once weren't a very picky bounty hunter."

Oh. One of the green rats spoke. Talon hated goblins. "Of course you can release the energy into the air. The large plumes of magic coming off of the drained individual would only hurt for a second - the rest of the time you'd be dead. Yes, you need something to drain the energy into. Amulets. Other creatures. It matters not."

Decay - Kharanos

Decay lashed back quickly, ducking to minimize the damage from the blows. She winced as the axe drew closer, flashing out ice subconsciously, flash-freezing the air around her into a thin wall to block the blow, which caused it to shatter.
''Neat!'', she exclaimed, surprised, before rolling sideways and leaping after the other death knight with an Obliterate of her own.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

Myri did not like how this mage spoke to her, not one bit. She wished she could shoot him right now, but she figured that probably wasn't the best idea. "So who is the main cultist behind all this and where are they?" the hunter couldn't help but ask. She briefly wondered if it was the troll back at the last camp they were at or not. She turned to the others " I cannot help but feel we need to get moving, whether we go after these cultists or not. What do think?" She looked back at the elf, her eyes narrowing to slits as she threatened "And for you own sake, if there is any information you are withholding, it would be best to tell us now."

Kharanos

"I say we kill him, and then go after the Cult. We've done okayish so far, and if we just keep pestering and tearing at them, their defenses will shatter and we can hit them hard." Azunara said, lashing her tail. "The hit-and-run tactics have been effective so far..." Koz said, shrugging.

Zaruuk - Kharanos

"Have they been?" The draenei turned to look at Azunara and Kozri. "From my perspective, all we have been is an annoyance to the Twilight's Hammer. Yes, we have forced them to relocate their base a few times, but we have done no real damage to their numbers. We have slowed their plans very little from what I have noticed, they still continue on, capturing others and using them to empower themselves. In return, they have often captured us and used us as weapons against one another."
He cleared his throat a little at that statement, trying to ignore the elekk in the room. "We are currently playing host to two of their members, that is true. I am not sure what they wish to do now. But if they decide to stay with us, the loss of those two will not be a huge blow to the Cult. No offence." He looked to Faron and Rose at that.
"Also, may I advise against discussing our plans of attack in front of the pompous elf, whom we do not trust?"

Magna looked at when she suggested that they kept moving and nodded.

Myriana and Swift - Kharanos

Myri leaned towards Zaruuk again, whispering in draenic "I say we get the fel out of here. It's only a matter of time before they try to retaliate and this would probably be the first place they look."

Zaruuk - Kharanos

Zaruuk nodded, agreeing with the huntress. It had been nice to relax here for a time, to be distracted by personal matters, both uncomfortable and pleasurable. But they really needed to get going.
"I agree. But where do we go? And what do we do about the wolf, his pet troll and the elf huntress?" He murmured back, opting not to mention that he needed to head to Ironforge later.

The warrior opened her eyes slowly, calm with herself at last. The cold had numbed her body to the point where she felt disconnected from it. She knew she could move her fingers, her toes. She knew she breathed. But she could feel none of it, as if she was only an observer, a puppet master. It was a most queer sensation. She moved to stand up, taking notice of how stiff her body was. She'd need to adapt to that.
Clutching at Crescent Oath, she bagan to move though her basic stances, flowing though the basic techniques slowly. She sped up her swings as she adjusted to the strange disconnection from her body, adding in more complex maneuvers as she went. Stabbing thrusts, sweeping slices, tumbling and weaving.
She paused, holding her stance as she took in lungfulls of air. She reflected back to the fights she had with the Death Knights. Sloppy. She'd let them get the best of her. She recalled their fighting styles, imagined them infront of her, slicing and blasting at her with their icy powers. She needed to use their strength against them.
She twirled about, slicing at the snow with Crescent Oath, watching it spray in all directions around her. She grasped the weapon and pointed it's edge towards the frigid wind, diverting it's flow somewhat around her body. Dancing about, keeping nimble, never stopping long enough to let the cold get to her.

Indigosa--Kharanos

Indi growled as her axe continued to bite through air and ice. Changing tactics, she slammed her axe into the ground, sending a rolling wall of ice in a circle around her.

You're too weak for this, the voice taunted. You should come back to me.

Rosaliah--Kharanos

Rose blinked at Faron, tilting her head.

As she overheard the adventurers, she frowned and said, "I'll thank you to stop calling me a Cultist. Just because I chose to follow Faron does not make me a part of their shenanigans."
