Also back to playing a bit in <petopians> on nesingwary. Have a pally by the name of Virizion, and have reserved the names Cobalion, Terrakion, and Keldeo. Virizion is a male Blood elf Paladin, Terrakion will be a Male Tauren Shaman, Cobalion I am thinking of making a Death Knight (Male blue skin tauren?), and trying to decide what to make Keldeo.

I was actually very surprised that all four names where not claimed.

I'll probably never use the guy since... I'm not a big Deoxy's fan. Eh, maybe I'll pawn him off for something. Needless to say, I've had a shiny addiction as of lately. Too bad I've only run into ONE shiny in the wild and it was a damn Electrode... That blew up in my face.

I've put my focus on getting certain Pokemon up to decent levels now. Preparing them for X and Y since I'm pretty sure there will be a post-game way to transfer 5th gen to 6th gen. o3o So I'm preparing them for that. I'm just glad they put better places to grind in the 5th gen games. God I hated training in HG/SS.

Also... I got the Eevee with the dream world ability and I'm thinking about evolving it into an espeon OR making it into a breeder. I'm not sure... do offspring inherit abilities from both parents are just one? >.>

The mystery gift option at a game store that has the promotion going is generally how I got all my Gamefreak legends, minus Victini which was a special at home type release. The wifi is unique and should, maybe with some help from someone working there, get automatically picked up after the DS can locate the signal. Bf and I spent a half hour talking to a guy trying to get the wifi to connect to our systems once, it just wouldn't connect and then suddenly ta daaa bf got his to work and mine -finally- worked like, 10 fricking minutes later XD My DS hates wifi with a passion

Most of my wifi problems come from my DS unable to connect to due security settings not being supported (including at home). Need to find some place open...I have no idea if any place in town is doing the promotion, we have only 2 games (both Gamestops).

Well, I know where I live many coffee shops and fast food joints have free wi-fi offered. (starbucks, McDonalds, Tim Hourtons, etc) to connect to those free wi-fi, you just go to the place (or stand outside it) to the connection search, it will do a test, the DS connects to the access point but it may or may not connect to the internet. If it does not connect to the internet, click your web browser icon on the top of the main DS (or is that just on 3DS?) menu and go to the website of the place you are at, there should be a browser page that pops up, scroll to the bottom of the page and click connect/or agree, something like that, then it should work fine.
(I ran into some issue on my 3DS when visiting my Dad. we stopped in at Tim Hourtons for food and the people there were nice enough to walk me through setting up the connection)

Has anyone ever been through one of the games with an Eevee in their team before? When I start Pokemon Diamond, I want a full team of Eeveelutions - Eevee, Umbreon, Espeon, Zolteon, Leafeon and Glaceon. I'm using Flareon in my current fire team in SoulSilver and I don't really like Vaporeon. But I've never heard of anyone using the standard Eevee in their teams before. Is it even possible? I love Eevee and I'm dying to be able to use one in my team. I'm aware I'd probably need to breed it to have a decent nature though and that I'd have to throw all the calciums and shit at it. But has anyone ever done this before, or something similar? Eevee is one of my favourites so I hate the idea of it just being that one Pokemon everyone uses as a 'base' to get the type they actually want from it, urg.

I've done something like that before with Eevee's/evo's, the hard part though is when HM's might be needed (mostly Fly). But it is very fun playing through a game with eevee's. (I had 5 eevee evo's plus am hM/Fly slave)

Ehhh, the Eeveelutions still do have good type coverage so aside from HM Fly, I'd say go for it. I've nearly always had an eeveelution on my team. As for having a full team of them? Mm no, but I've trained all of them so far.

Ah that's never a problem for me. I mean, with my current team of fire types, I obviously can't use surf, waterfall or whirlpool but I just threw the HMs at a spare Totodile that just sits in my PC. I just bring him out for a little while whenever I need to get somewhere that requires it. Sure, it's annoying to change him around with one of my main Pokemon all the time, but I'd rather do that than have a water Pokemon in my team *just* for that reason. I'm very picky. xD So I'm aware I wouldn't be able to use fly and probably some others on my Pokemon team but eh, not a problem to me.

Also, no one actually answered my question. I asked if anyone's trained an *Eevee*, not an Eeveelution. x___o

I like the Eevee evolutions. Especially in BW2, when you can catch Eevees in the wild at level 15. Though, no, I haven't. And yeah, I usually use an HM guy. >>

I considered using a plain Eevee for a while in my team. Once I realized they could learn Shadow Ball (I think), I was kicking myself for evolving mine, as they'd make a great ghost type killer.

Thank you for being the first person that seems to know what I was talking about. xD; And yes, I believe Eevee can learn Shadow Ball! Which is awesome.

I think the main problem with plain Eevee would be that their base stats are so low. You'd have to get a really good nature and really buff them up for them to be as powerful as some other alternatives. Then again, that could also just be me- I dislike taking damage at all, so I'm always going for the ultra OP pokémon. >.>

I remember having an Eevee when I first did the elite 4 on my heartgold game. She... wasn't too good. I was just waiting to evolve her into the Jolteon for my team.

I've seen a few Eevees in competitive battles. Make sure your Eevee has Adaptability. If you are keeping it an Eevee and not evolving it, a +atk nature and build would work best. Most do the Endure(or focus sash item)/Flail combo. You can also try Toxic Orb with Facade. If you don't want to gamble with low health or being poisoned, just a basic Return with an Eevee that loves you can do a lot of damage. Of course take Bite or Shadow Ball to do damage to ghosts immune to your normal attacks.
