Aw DAMN. I forgot I asked a sniper to get me a Brown Wolf Cape. (In my defense I asked like... 3 weeks ago.) And they just handed me it now and I obviously had to fork 20k over for it. I'm really grateful for it and all but... I actually really just want a black one now. xD Uh... no one's willing to trade a black for a brown or gold are they? Aha.

Not a hack - the site started allowing people to post in the news forum which transfers to the front page xD Totally innocent - would be pathetic if admins punished people imo.

^ This is why I think it would suck if the admins got all hissy about it. Seriously - it's as if the site is run by amateurs from their spare bedroom - they are taking real money from folks, yet they can't seem to keep the site stable? Ugh, this is why I won't buy gems if I could afford them. I've seen some pretty shitty behaviour by the admins recently that have really made me think twice of having sympathy for them - someone paid for an accent - the seller of said accent got banned that day for no reason (or the admins couldn't give a reason). Does the poor innocent soul who used the accent forum get their gems refunded? NOPE - FR admins do not support such transactions - WTF?! Sorry but that's just pathetic And to make matters worse they then deleted the accent shop thread so there's no trace of it.

Maybe I've become too disenchanted with the site to care anymore

...Guys, the bug happened because the admins were trying to AVOID maintenence. They set up the www1 thing and everything so that they could try and make the site more optimized while still letting us play.

And we took advantage of that to exploit a bug.

No crap, they couldn't debug before it was noticed, they're optimizing as we play! Of course something will slip through the cracks. But instead of reporting the bug, the players took advantage of it. That's not the admins sucking. That's us.

Edit- Zhuge, the incident you described was resolved and the person got their gems back, if I remember correctly.

I'd rather them take the site down for a day and fix it for good though! It's as if they are being lazy (or, as in the riot of rot skin winners) running scared of the whiners! They are just fixing bandage after bandage on the site instead of saying "look we gotta fix this, guys please wait". It's this constant quick/fiddling fix that sends the site down for days at a time - problems pile on then boom, site is well dead. I play on a lot of other pet sites, and not one seems to have the same problem as FR - and some are more complex and have similar user numbers :/

This is exactly how I feel. You take advantage of a bug you should get punished for it. Reminds me in WoW when that guy got the item that auto cleared every raid and killed everything and he used it and abused it to gear up his guild, who knowingly took part in it and all were banned. You can't do that stuff and get away with it.

After they kicked up a huge stink about it and contacted Paypal The site admins lack common sense - I just wish they'd step back and stop trying to make everyone happy. They can only do so much, but the basics seem to suffer constantly

Not going to lie that whole "having it closed more maintenance every day" thing they do is pretty over the top I think. Once a week would seem to be better XD

I'm sorry but this is their first site. They're managing the best that they can. They get yelled at for maintenance. They get yelled at for new genes. They get yelled at for new apparel. They get yelled at about skins and accents being offensive. They get yelled at far too much. Remember that if they never even started this game that you wouldn't have the joy it gives you. If you're disenchanted then maybe take a break from the game. But yeah the admins are going to try to make everyone happy when they literally get yelled at for EVERY single thing.

I've taken breaks and have come back hoping they had sorted the basic things but sadly not For me, genes, apparel, skins etc can all wait until the site is stable. Heck, can we mention the economy again!? xD Lets not release any gorey skins during a holiday that supports plague and all things gore incase we offend and lets keep dropping new genes but the bits of the site that are PARAMOUNT to its success we will just mini fix Am sorry but its annoys me sooooo much
