If you go sex toy shopping take a few mates along make a day of it. it can be fun with friends. Least it was for me!

We did that a few weeks back to my mate, she had just broke up with her BF of like 6 years, so to cheer her up we took her sex toy shopping XD We got her something nice and it took her mind of him and stop her crying for most of a day.

You could always order online if you're not comfortable walking into a shop.

There's a lot of great stores out there though, not ones that are just shady porn shops. I'm sure you could find a reputable place near you, and many of them have female employees who are really helpful and don't make you feel awkward at all.

May I suggest Babeland? I was SUPER embarrassed to go shopping with my boyfriend in-store, so we spent some time browsing the Babeland website and couldn't be more thrilled with our purchases. I reeeeally need to get around to replacing my old vibrator. Poor thing had a (loud, explodey)battery leak for reasons I've never really figured out and I had to throw it away. I have other toys, but they don't really do the same thing, and honestly it's a pain in the ass to set everything up/clean up after/etc. etc.

Sticking it here because it pertains to kinks: I'm dyiiing for my collar. It's very much both a sexual and non-sexual thing for me. I like the comforting, reassuring feeling that you're cared for and loved if it's just tight enough that you never forget it's there - and then there's the whole sex appeal aspect too. I've been feeling pretty insecure lately, and the reassurance of something like that would probably help me out a ton. There's a company that makes them by hand out of high-quality leather/linings/etc. to the tune of about $30 + shipping depending on how much you add to it, but I just don't have the money right now. And looking at the current financial status I won't have that money for a long, long time - probably not until after Christmas. And that kills me.

At any rate, I had a friend offer to buy mine for me last night. But he's a pretty smart guy, and he added that he didn't really want to seem like he was trying to claim ownership of me or anything - he's a good friend, but he knows I've been pestering my BF to help me pick colors for it because that makes it so much more important to me. It wasn't really a problem for me, though, since he made it pretty clear that he's not trying to take over or anything - and anyway, a collar is just a collar until you put a reason behind it yourself.

Nevertheless, I appreciate him being so thoughtful and considerate about it all but added that he really shouldn't waste money on me in the first place. I feel like I did the right thing, but at the same time I'm absolutely miserable without something around my neck and realize I shouldn't instinctively reject gifts just because. As greedy as it makes me sound, if I could go back in time and do it again I'd probably accept his offer, but if I bring it up again I feel like I actually would be greedy.

As far as I know, they're not the only people who make collars meant for people, but no one else has the variety they do. I could just go to Hot Topic and buy a black one, of course, but I don't think it'd be as well made and it's not as fun anyway!

They focus mostly on leather, but they have rubber to substitute and there was at least one person who had a collar with lining made out of lorica. As far as I know they are working on adding more variety, but it's a fairly slow process as they're still trying to find regular suppliers(they had a similar situation with blue faux fur and bronze hardware like studs/locks/etc. if I remember right). A lot of people send in their own leathers/specific beads or gems they want on the collar - essentially, there is very little they cannot do provided you're specific about what you want and you provide the 'extras', and the community continues to think up and turn out absolutely gorgeous pieces. Of course, it's going to be more expensive to get, say, something like this, this or this than it would to get something like this.

Alas, I lack bedposts. And a local boyfriend, for that matter.

SPEAKING OF WHICH I...didn't get to go see him as soon as I'd have liked. I still have relatives in Vermont who are more than happy to give me a place to stay, though, and BF's house isn't really too far from there. Unfortunately we're actually penniless now(bank holding charges for a week without telling us = $2 coffee becomes $45 coffee, apparently. we're finding a new bank) so who knows how that's going to go, but my dad keeps insisting he's going to make sure I get to see him no matter what. Which is fine.

Except I still haven't seen a doctor, and I'm still not on birth control. I mean, it's not the end of the world, but I still don't feel entirely comfortable doing much without it. Obviously we're going to be as careful as possible but I still feel really iffy about it. The absolute last thing I need right now is a kid, and it's just so damned annoying that I have do choose between having fun and not taking any risks. I know it's not 100% guarantee even with it, and we can always just do other stuff, and by the time I have money for Vermont I might actually be on birth control by then, but it still makes me grit my teeth.

im so glad you have this i have always had trouble with my period sometimes i waits 7 months for it come and lately its like every other week im geting so frustrated with it sence me and my bf cant plan out safe nights about a month ago i lasted 3 week i almost died of frustration i would go see a doctor about but unfortantly we have no money atm and have no insurnce ><

Mmmm not really a women part rant
but just ranting in general

Lately I think iv'e been feeling a bit... lonely.
Normally the thought of me getting a guy at this age disturbs me because I think they all just want to get in my pants. Also I'd rather not date anyone with my...ah Independent nature.
Its strange, iv'e been wanting to feel warm arms around me, just someone of the opposite sex to relate to, I dont want to go into anything sexual despite the urges I get
I just want to be loved normally..accepted for who I am and not my appearance, or beauty.

Yeah I want a nice guy at the age of 15. Not sure if thats possible, plus getting a boyfriend my dad would MURDER. me
