Aye, though they are pretty damn dead and being that it was off an existing model doesn't have as much squiggly If they took that sporebat and fiddled with it to get it like the existing model like a base with a skin wrap maybe? Then that might be usable as looks distinctly unfinished as it stands right now hence my suspicions how it was used. Admittedly I'm not as knowledgeable with 3D art so am guessing a bit.

Holy crow, some of these new looks are amazing. I'm already planning on switching Ophelia my green warpie to the black warpie skin as soon as this patch comes out. This is amazing---the Chromehound discovery was pretty great too, for folks who don't have time, patience, or friends to dive into BWL.

Alright, so far Sunwing is a must-have for me, as is the presumably future-tameable red mana serpent. Now, pleeeeeeeeease show up zombie bear! I'll take you to Tinkertown for a light snack.....

Wow, I'm amazed at all the new rares that are going in. None of them really jumps out as me as a MUST TAME what with most of them being skins or models available elsewhere minus some boring ghostly versions, but it's nice to give others options. Except maybe the monkey. That's just incredible. And the arcane serpents, which aren't rares to hunt.
It's weird how many lower-level rares here that are exotic, though. Any word about them lowering the level you need to tame them?

Nope. And it's not that weird, most currently-tamable exotics are low level.

It's nice they added some low level shale spiders (since they were all, what, 83+?). Now someone who gets to 69 can finally get one sooner.

On my 85, in 5.1, I snuck in Zul'aman, Amani Bear's aren't tameable. And those Arcane "serpents" sure sound like dragons. lol

I suspect the companions are actually from raids. Many of the items that give the pets are named for raid mobs or bosses.

This also explains why Chrominius got renamed to Chromehound - Chrominius is an appropriate (and adorable!) name for a minipet.
