Rise of the Shadows!

Deoxys rolled his eyes, "....sorry...."

[Saturo]

"Thank you.", Darkrai said and turned to Ciro. "Close your eyes, little guy."

[Magnakilro]

Demonica returned to Scarab, cackling, "I have infected the delicious Deosol child!"

[Kira]

Ciro whimpered loudly before he forced his eyes to close. "I still don't like you..."

[Lupis]

Scarab snarled as shards of metal exploded around him. Red looked down at the shards and shoved Scarab to the side, protecting the Kabutops by standing as a barrier. Red payed for it, too - a large shard sliced through the air and severed one of its four arms, also cutting deeply into its leg. It let out a bellow and fell, only just managing to save itself by grabbing on to the branch with two of its remaining three arms. The other one clutched at the stump, and it whimpered. Scarab actually felt bad for it. Red had been a loyal guard to throw himself into such obvious danger. Kneeling, he helped the wounded Machamp up and pushed him towards the trunk of the tree to rest.
He grinned horribly at Demonica. "Good. That will throw the parentsss into chaosss. Their deathsss are imminent."

Blue, brother of Red, blinked at Larry's gaping jaws and shrugged, setting his feet to crush the low jaw of the dragon. It would hurt to have his feet pierced by teeth, but it was better then being eaten.

Many Dusk still stood, and they closed in on the group of uninfected. Rage for their kin's deaths and a giddy anticipation to kill made them ravenous - organization was still there, as the dark and ghost types lead the way, but it wasn't quite as clear who was what. A few flying Dusk flew after El, seeing a few of their kin fall after his arial attack.

[Saturo]

"Dun' worry kid, this'll be quick.", he said, and used Dark Void. He turned to Deoxys. "I was wondering... Do you have any chocolate? Or some Lum berries? They would help against the chill after the nightmare ends.", he said.

He turned to Ciro, and used Nightmare, diving into the Deosol's dreams.

[Magnakilro]

Deoxys looked at Delora, "I'm going to pick some berries for Ciro...he will undoubtedly be very scared when this is over..."

[Kira]

Ciro stood shivering in the middle of a large open space, shadow beings in the shapes of his friends and family closing in on him as he tried to stand his ground. He didn't want to hurt anyone..why were they doing this?!

"I suppose I'll have to apologize for calling him an ass.." Delora muttered before she glanced at her fur. Oh great...it was stuck. She glanced back up at Deoxys and nodded. "I'll go with you.."
"Does this mean you're not going to attack us now?" Kyuu asked quietly as she peeked her head out of a bush.

[Saturo]

The shadows seemed to grow even darker as Darkrai, accompanied by shadows of his own appeared in a wisp of dark smoke.
"Stay back kid, I'll deal with these!", he said, and spun around, wrapping a powerful shield around Ciro. He turned to the shadows, and his own shadows snarled at them.
"So, would you prefer your death quick and painless, or slow and horrible? I will happily provide you with both."

[Kira]

Ciro sank down a bit, staring up at Darkrai.
The shadows snarled at the legend and grew in size, doubling however large they usually were. They didn't speak, simply snarled and grunted at the whisp.

[Saturo]

"Not talky, eh? Oh, and fighting the Lord of Nightmares in a nightmare? Bad idea."
Spikes started erupting from the ground under the shadows, as Darkrai seemed to be empowering himself. This would probably be a bit harder than he thought...

[Azunara]

Dialga, a bit late, put up Safeguards nonetheless. He wasn't sure what would happen when Darkrai returned. Better safe than sorry. Solara seemed irritable. With Eleredar gone, she paced. She didn't want him gone again, and Speck had been one of her friends who trusted her, despite being Dusk. She didn't want to lose either of them. She growled, lashing her tail as she paced.

Speck whined in pain as the Unown left. "El! I can't hold on much longer, I don't even think I can escape. Those Dusk really were vicious." Eleredar, however, didn't hear. He was busy fighting the flying Dusk, tearing the throat of one, trying desperately to leap out of the way. He couldn't get Infected again. He couldn't lose control. Speck snarled weakly, her Shades hovering besides her, barely there. The haunter growled at the Dusk, ready for their attacks.

[Kira]

The shadows mostly dodged the spikes, though a few were sent into the air. The ones that had dodged, the Deoxys, Delora, Chomp and Molly shaped forms, attacked Darkrai. Dusk Deo and Molly sent spheres of solid black at the Nightmare lord while Dusk Delora and Chomp simply charged at him.

Darkrai faded, letting the Dusk charge right trough him. He shot out a Dark Pulse when they had their backs turned. His shields absorbed the dark energy the Molly and Deo had fired, and Darkrai disappeared in a wisp of smoke. His shadows lunged after the Molly and Deo shades, and Darkrai reappeared high up into the air, where he sent out several dark pulses rapidly.

The Unown leader flew up to Speck, exhausted. "Hold on, we're getting out of here!",it said, tiredly.

[Magnakilro]

Deoxys scooped up Delora and flew off to pick berries

Ironskull walked over to little Ciro and whimpered and nudged him.

[Lupis]

The flying Dusk didn't fall away from El but instead swarmed like angry bees, attempting to divebomb, bite, scratch and ram the winged Persian. They were learning, if slowly, from Scarab's rule - groups were good.

A Houndour ran at Speck and lunged, chomping at the Haunter with Dusk-lengthened teeth.

Houndour uses Crunch!

[Kira]

The two charging shades had disappeared once hit, the two that had blasted him becoming injured, a limb lost on both. A deep hiss came from around him as more shades started to appear, all attacking.

Ciro twitched in his sleep, the nightmare terrifying the little guy.

[Magnakilro]

Ironskull whimpered again and started to nuzzle the child.

Demonica fired Shadow Balls at Speck and the Unowns

[Azunara]

Speck growled, lashing at the houndoom. Desperation and rage for Chomp's death kept her going, despite her numerous wounds. She'd keep fighting until she'd drop, if she had too. She looked at the unown, taking a Shadow Ball for them. They needed to get everyone out, and they were already tired, "Worse comes to worse, leave me behind. I'll figure something out, and El can fly away." She said, focusing on the Houndoom, her Shades tiredly shuffling to fight and strangle it.

Speck used Shadow Claw!
Speck used Night Shade!

Eleredar snarled, lashing furiously at the Dusk, trying to hold them at bay. One darted in, but he leaped at it, slamming it to the ground with a sharp blow to its wings.

Eleredar used Fury Swipes!

((Funny story. I was playing Soul Silver, and in the Rocket Base, their alarms were black persians. First thought was, "DUSK EL!"))

So that's how you want it,eh?", Darkrai said, and started concentrating.
