The unowns poked out, hearing that the commotion faded, "Is Mrs Pretty Lady ok?"

Baaz relaxed, sighing in relief as the black hole disappated. He looked up, expecting to see mighty warriors, battleweary to be sure, but strong and peerless. Instead he saw... Children. Injured folk. People wearily looking at him, terrified out of their minds. He... he hung his head. The voices screamed at him to go kill them all, sink their teeth into their flesh and infect them. He mentally snarled at them, forcing them into a corner in his mind and locking them away. He would not let the whispers affect his honour and judgement.

"Nice work, ya lug!" Gamin loped forward, grinning toothily. "And looks like they're easy pickin's too." The Poochyena ran toward the cave, preparing to bite each of those in there...

A gigantic paw slammed into the small pokemon, sending him flying. He smashed up against a tree.

"I... I cannot allow you to hurt them." Baaz said in a low, sorrowful growl.

"You're kiddin'." Gamin coughed as he got up. He was bruised, but not badly hurt. "What happened to yer oath of fealty? Yer honour and crap?"

"There is no honour in this..." Baaz turned to the cave enterance. "I... I shall not serve one who would hurt innocents and the helpless. Leave."

Gamin stared in shock. He knew the Arcanine was soft... but forsaking his honour? Damn! He turned and ran away, towards where he expected Seventeen to be.

Baaz moved slowly, his head lowered, trying to appear non-threatening. He lay at the front of the cave, his guts twisting up in guilt. Guilt that wasn't just about almost attacking those who could not fend for themselves.

Larry looked at baaz he too was quietly sitting at the entrance of the cave watching everything due to not being able to attack

((Sorry for disappearing! Mom hijacked the computer for a few minutes.))

Julius watched the big Arcanine warily. He had protected them? But... just a moment ago they seemed like he wanted to tear their heads off. He tilted his head, slowly getting to his feet. He nervously licked his lips as he sniffed Baaz's scent, studying it. Slinking low to the ground, he took a few steps closer to him.
"I'm... I-I'm Julius. W-who are you?"

((Edit: Hum, it looks like everyone logged off while I was gone. Well then. Good night? ))

((Eh, not so much logged on my side as opposed to checking some other websites out quickly. ))

Baaz watched Julius approach and let him investigate.
"My name is Baaz." he said in a slow, sad voice. "I... I am sorry for my actions, and those of my... former comerades."

The Buizel studied him closely. "W-well, you s-sound like you're t-telling the t-truth to me..." He looked at the Arcanine with sad eyes. "At least you d-didn't hurt anyone here. Th-that was nice of you. We don't meet a lot of nicer Dusk." He frowned, looking back at Molly. "That... that was really scary. Ms. Molly is usually so nice. She's... I've never thought she could be so scary." His fur rose slightly.

Kanmimpi also appered beside the two pokemon talking "It is true that we don't meet to many nice dusk i'm sorry if molly starlted you weve going going through so much stress the last few days"

Baaz raised his head to look at the pokemon he had just protected. They were.... nice. He had almost forgotten that people could be nice like this.
"You have no need to apologise toward me. My former brothers are merciless. I am surprised you seem to be holding up as well as you have been." He turned to look at the collapsed Gardevoir. "I hope she is alright. She gave all her energy to protect those she cared for. If only all had her courage."

Daray had taken his post next to Molly, worried beyond belief about her. He had never seen her do that before, and had no real idea she was capable of it..but he still loved her damn it, even if he was just a liiiittle bit freaked out. He didn't look up from her, simply sighing.

Ciro moved back to his dad, curling up against his side to wait for him to wake up.
Delora stared at the Arcanine for a little while before she currled against Deoxys as well.

Kyuu had curled herself into a ball in the tree she had picked, her knees up and her head hidden in them, paws rested on the back of her skull. She hadn't meant to do Any of that...breaking down, snapping and even worse she had infected Jaws! She whined, her fingers digging into her skin.

"So, you take them on in Defensive Form, and I'll blast 'em from behind with shadowform?"

Speck whined. The sense of death was everywhere. A lot of people were near death, a lot of people hurt, and it all clamored in her head, fighting the voices for dominance. She snarled at everything to shut up. It was all so much simpler when she wasn't Infected. She had to stay strong, though. She didn't want Darkrai and Daray to waste energy Curing her. She'd live. They had more important people to take care of. She looked at Baaz warily, head tilted.

"You remind me of that one arcanine, two years ago. The Pack Leader," She said, not really meaning anything with her statement.

Solara snarled. She hated ghosts. Hated, hated, hated, hated ghosts. She was so weak against them! She snarled, leaping at where Rosen had been, baring her teeth in anger. She looked at Lilith, Jaws, Kyuu, and whined.

Summer had fallen asleep on an island of ice she had created. Now she woke up, yawning and looking around. It looked so peaceful here. Smiling to herself, she let the ice melt and swam to shore, diving to freeze and catch a fish before hitting land. After a moment of thought, she caught a few more. Her new friends would probably be irritated that she had been gone, so bringing food would be welcome. Now carrying a total of eight varyingly-sized fish by their tails, she trotted back to camp and stopped as she saw the chaos. There was a lot of blood around, and a new Arcanine that looked like Dusk. She couldn't smell anything but fish, though. Quickening her pace, she entered the cave and put down the fish.
"What happened? Is everyone okay? Does anyone want fish?"

Blood pounded in Cragtooth's ears as she sprinted through tall grass, ignoring the pains of thorns in her paws and grass lashing across her eyes. What had those monsters been?! Around her, she could hear the frightened yips and howls of her pack as they too scattered in every direction. She had, they had all, seen humans before. Boring creatures, with pale skin and no fur. But these had been disgusting, a mottled grey-green, with blazing red eyes. They had captured Mudscar and Grassmane in their pokeballs already. Well, they wouldn't get her! The sounds behind her began to fade as she picked up speed, beginning to lose her fear and revel in running. A lake appeared in front of her and she dove into it, her legs pumping as she swam swiftly towards the other end. By this time her muscles were screaming but she didn't care, she was used to being tired. Besides, she wanted to get as far from those things as possible.
She reached the bank and clambered up, shaking out her gold fur. Before the last drops hit the ground she was running again, is somewhat slowed. Soon she could smell something ahead, blood, pokemon, fish, and a sour stench she had come to recognize as those dark things. She slowed to a walk. Another pack of pokemon were here already? She wondered if they would welcome her. From her experience, if you bring them something nice, then a pack would accept you without argument. That sort of thing happened all the time. What could she give as a gift, though?
She wandered about until she found a nice, long vine, then found a few feathers on a dead Spearow (she would swear she had never touched the poor bird, and by the way, they tasted like chicken) to tie in to the vine like decorations. Holding the offering necklace in her jaws, she trotted towards the closest pokemon. The Arcanine smelled awful, but she hoped it was just a temporary smell from fighting the sickly things. She dropped the necklace at his feet and took a few steps back, panting softly.

Scylla stared at the mightyena who had just entered the cave, her dark purple fur shined like milk on a black shirt she didn't care she walked up to the golden mightyena looking at her curiously, she sniffed her getting infortmation on the other wolf, she was a pack leader "May I ask where your pack is?"

[Lupis]

Cragtooth looked at Scylla and sniffed her back. "We lived a few miles away from here, the Golden Sun pack. We got attacked by some odd grey humans, the pack split up." She felt fairly at home with the other Mightyena, although the other species were a bit odd. "Yours?"

"My past a few miles west of here, were known as the eternal seekers, I had to split up from my pack for thier saftey"

Jaws retuned to the cave, Lilith and Olivia in tow.

He gently put the bloody, unconscious houndoom on the floor

He looked at the Arcanine and gave him a GLARE OF DEATH.

"Your kind did this......."

He snarled and raised his claws.

[Azunara]

Dialga growled, "Leave him be. He prevented one of his own from hurting us." He put up a safeguard around the arcanine. Solara called upon the sun to heal Lilith, wishing she would get better.

((I recently picked up a skarmory. Skarmories were one of those pokemon I loved but could never find. So I'm really liking mine, and I figured I'd toss him in for giggles.))

High over the ruins of the lab where the Dusk had first come forth into the world, a skarmory perched. He had spent a long time in this town. The occupants knew him, and they would occasionally feed him, allowing him to bring food back to his nest. When the Dusk had broken free, they had came and destroyed his nest, killing his mate and most of his children, only one of them survived. The young skarmory had been sick, and now was barely hanging on. He had to find help.

He had spent days looking over the town, making wider circles, finding his child had finally passed away when a small patrol of Dusk had found her. He had killed them, and now soared high above.

That was days ago.

He flew down, resting in a tree. His wings were sore and tired, and he had spent a while running from the Dusk. He had found tracks of pokemon, and had even heard combat the night before, but was too weary to do much. He cree'd softly. He missed his mate.
