Digging gives you a bunch of vendor trash + lots of Broken Penny Bottles, which each have 200t in them. You can also get battered chests and sometimes nicer chests. And, if you're lucky, gold!

Well, that's not really why I went digging. I went digging because that's where they stick the holiday chests with some of the skins.

I figure I might as well try for those and if I don't want the skins that drop I can sell them.

Ah, I just meant it seemed like there were more opportunities for digging than for scavenging.

The only real reason to go scavenging is to take a gamble on getting an unhatched egg, but with the economy the way it is it's almost not even worth trying to get an egg.

My dream Skydancer is on the AH for gems... About 2500 of them. If anyone could buy her and hold her I'd pay you back with treasure. ;_;

I'm seriously so sad. She isn't even a reachable goal for me because I can't even afford gems.

Why must I KEEP changing my mind on pairings??? BLEH! Just when I thought that I had everything all settled...I realise that it would be sooooo much more affordable to just buy starter dragons with the genes I need rather then gene/scroll change the ones I had...OK, NOW I should be good on pairs...

Yeah, I've found digging to be a bit more exciting because I always seem to get a lot of chests. I usually put one gathering turn in each Flight area for digging, then the remaining 4 in Scavenging just in case of an egg (though I've yet to ever find one

).
