Some days I'd rather like to crawl back into bed and restart it...
I wake to hear my Daughter calling me from the next room, then she starts screaming this high pitched whining sound. I get up groggily to see whats wrong.
"its cold, can you carry me to the living room?" Uhhh....Nooo, wrap your blanket around yourself and walk. Don't scream your head off unless its important. I thought something bad might have happened.
Ok, she's in the living room, I am going to the bathroom *close door site down* MOMMYmommyMOMMYmoMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEeeeee!!!! *outside the bathroom door* Stop shouting, I can hear you just fine if you talk. "I have to pee" "well, wait till I am done.
now she's picking at her cereal with her fingers when she knows she's suppose to use the spoon, she's liking the chair, fooling around, and wont stop talking and narrating EVERYTHING that's going on.

One of the few days I am glad to be working...she can be a brat for her grandparents.

I got a GW2 phishing Email this morning..

Thing I didn't realize it was a phish until it was too late.

As in I panicked and did everything the f***ing fake site said.

I'm reaaallly getting tired of this dumb shit happening to me and being such a dumb piece of crap to FALL for it in the first place.
I have changed my passwords and sent in a support ticket.
But that's all I can do for now.

And then I loved FiM of course. It's great, cute, I love the little pony toys they made for it.

I have too. I dont mind adult pony fanwork. I can appreciate hard work on art and some of it is absolutely gorgeous, even if a bit on the adult side. It's not my cup of tea but I just appreciate all forms of art, regardless of fandoms. And you come to accept it's the internet. It'll exist, always. Rofl.

And yeah, I'm a lady. I just hate being lumped in with the creepy old men and I hate it when my fiance gets bashed for it too cause he's a guy that thinks MLP: FiM is a decent show and has good characters/plot/etc. He appreciates the art same way I do. Doesn't mean he gets off on it or anything.

I try not to let it bother me but lately it's gotten really bad in Trade Chat. :<

So glad I left the pony fandom. That's a giant hive of yuck and grossness.

I'm so glad I can watch the show in peace and quiet and not be that involved in the fandom? .___. Bronies are dumb, but I love MLP. I'm not gunna let a bunch of weirdos spoil that show for me. I don't see why people feel the need to be apart of fandoms...

In fact, I watch the show with my boyfriend, who isn't a brony, he just thinks it's a decent kids show and enjoys watching it with me. That's perfect for me.

That reminds me of a rant I've had on my brain for a while now anyway. About bronies. They basically make themselves look bad. I mean, if men wanted to watch little kiddie shows, I didn't give a crap, who cares? But bronies have made such a MASSIVE deal out of this and making some dumb 'equality' situation surrounding themselves that now every obsessive brony just looks creepy to me and I want nothing to do with them. I've met so many in real life who have simply pointed out my Rainbow Dash badge on my bag and then went on a HUUUUUGE discussion about how great the show is, how Rarity is best pony, etc. And I'm just like... *backs away slowly* because it's creepy and I don't want to talk about MLP to some strange fat neckbeard in a random store. .____. Bronies are creepy, end of. One even started talking about how hot Trixie was. I wanted to kill myself there and then.

They really do make themselves look bad even the 'good" ones. Everytime a bad thing is brought up they go "we are not all like that!" and never do anything about it really. That's like putting your fingers in your ears and thinking it will go away because you can't hear it anymore. If you don't want people thinking your fandom is nothing but creppyness then do something about it! Fix the problem instead of handwaving it away with a "we are not all like that!" Shun the creepy ones don't ignore them. Try and make them the non vocal group!


I stoped likeing the show when I realised how bad the animation and writing was. I was blinded by it in the first season but after learning Flash I can see how flawed and basic it is even for a kids show XD The characters where good in the first season but by the time of the third season they'd somehow down graded into caricatures of themselves and now the stories feel more like fanfiction XD

Junrei & Tygard - I'm really sorry if my post offended you, I'm not a brony hater, not at all, it's just that I have had my bad experiences with them in real life which has left me with some negative opinions of some of them. I know that there's a lot of bronies out there who aren't like that, heck, if anyone refers to me as a brony, I don't yell at them or tell them I'm not one, I'm okay with it because I know that a brony is essentially just the word for an MLP fan. Just like a Whovian is a Doctor Who fan and any of the other fandom names out there.

I didn't mean for my post to offend anyone here, I just went off on a tangent and got a bit upset, that's all. I *love* MLP. It's a huge part of my life, I adore the show, I collect the merch, I have some shirts and I wear them with pride. It's something that makes me happy. However... I'm sure you've all bumped into the sort of bronies that people aren't too fond of once or twice. By that I mean the ones that try and shove the show down your throat, try and make out that various ponies are 'sexy' and the like. If you haven't, well, lucky you, but where I live, those seem to be the only fans I've ever had the displeasure of bumping into irl. As I mentioned, one of them laughed and made a comment about how sexy Trixie was. I had never met this guy before. It was creepy.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the adult pony art either, I find it distasteful and almost disrespectful to the show. It's a children's cartoon for crying out loud.

If it makes you feel any better, I may not consider myself generally to be a brony but I do consider myself (not very openly) to be a furry. I look at adult artwork of furries and I sometimes draw them too. I'm an adult female. None of my friends know. I'm not ashamed of it, but unlike my ponies, I think they'd find that weird. So I don't want to explain it to them. On the internet, no one knows me, so I'm happy to refer to myself as a furry. However, I also get a lot of slack for it. A lot of it I can't handle that well. I also get called a 'creepy neckbeard' or a 'pervert'. But how is looking at furry artwork any different from the porn most of them probably watch? It's not. What's the point of me bringing this up here though? Well, I get so much slack for it, that sometimes my anger gets redirected at the bronies. Because some of them I find creepy. I feel bad for it, and I wish I didn't (and never actually do directly towards anyone) but it makes me mad sometimes. I've met plenty of female bronies in real life, all of them were lovely people, but never met a male one who hasn't just gone on and on and on and on about it as if it's the only thing in his life that matters anymore.

And about the Trade Chat thing... What's going on there? I used to watch her videos, don't anymore because I don't have interest in WoW anymore or LoL.

Double rant time!

My computer broke and now I'm stuck using the older-with-none-of-my-games one. Had to take my gaming one into a shop today, but they're closed on Sundays so I'm probably not seeing it again until Monday at the earliest. I am so bored without it ;_;

And then I was just taking a shower and after I noticed this really weird looking hair/fuzz on my towel and upon closer inspection saw it looked a heck of a lot like two spider legs. Like, I'm really pretty sure it was spider legs. But I could see no rest of the spider and then I was all freaking out like oh jeez where is the rest of it. Is it on me!? Is it dead, is it alive? where did these legs come from!? I'm still all shuddery, I very much dislike spiders.

The only person I know irl that knows is my boyfriend.

I have tried to avoid all the MLP stuff. I find it weird and sad. I grew up watching the original cartoon, I had as close to all the toys as I could (mom would hate that I lined them all up in rows up and down our stairs.) My little girl watches the new one and has some of my original toys...(yes from the 80's lol )as well as some new ones. Because of the things going on I decided to relegate myself to old memories and stay out of the new stuff and hope my daughter is young enough not to be affected by the "other side" of the fan base.

Well doing that sort of thing is pretty common for the bronie fandom :/ I'm not joking I follow a video reviewer from Thatguywiththeglases on Twitter and every time she says something about how she finds a lot of bronies creepy she gets 100s of hate comments or "we are not all like that" comments that are just as bad and anger fulled as the hate comments! Or comments about how saying things about bronies is like racism or something along those lines!

It's crazy. I mean if you are not part of the creepy/bad part I don't see why you need to try and defend them :/

Every single time she does that or retweets something about bronies she gets that. I think she gets the worst of it because she is female!

Kinda reminds me of being accused of being a monster by a bunch of Vegans (see rant further up) and that eating some random cow meant they could come eat my cat cause its the same thing...wat?

You should say "ok we'll inroduce a natural predator and that will kill them for us! That worked soooo well with Cane Toads in Australia right?" I'm all for not being cruel to animals but groups like PETA take it way too far.
